I huffed as I sat by my mom as my dad preached

I was suspended for a week and some days and my dad hasn't talked to me since. Haven't talked to Noah either but everyone else yea

My mom rubbed my back as I stared at my father who was preaching about being obedient and respecting our parents

I zoned out until the service was over

"Hey sister Brenda" my mom turned around and saw Addison and her daughter Ashley

"Hey Addison and Ashley" my mom said putting on a fake ass smile

I ain't say nothing then my mom elbowed me and I spoke "hey"

I zoned out again looking around to see if anyone from school was here

There wasn't anybody so I nodded in relief

"So next Saturday" Addison said and I looked at her and raised my eyebrow

"Bye Kyle" Ashley said me hugging me

"So you and Ashley" my mom said and my eyes grew wide

I know I didn't accidentally agree to go out wit her

"Wait ma I wasn't paying attention what happened" I asked and she hit me in my head "boy you just agreed to take Ashley out on Saturday"

"You in a relationship" my mom asked cheesing

I ain't say nothing but I walked over to my dad

He looked at me then walked away

My eyes then widened isn't Ashley like 16

"Ma I can't go out wit her she only like 16.l" I said to my mom running to her

It's not like if she was older I would still go out wit her

"Just take her on the harmless date. If you do like it don't force it" she said and I opened the car door for her as she got in

I closed it back then go in the back seat and pulled out my phone
