Chapter 1

Bridgit's P.O.V

Truth or dare, a game everyone has played at least once in their life. I guess that's where my story started. A dare turned into a bet. The bet, well the bet that changed my life.

I was at my best friend Joshua Bassett's apartment, it was Fourth of July. We were with Olivia and Larry and Sofia playing Truth or Dare when it was on Joshua's turn. He looked all around and then he stopped at me.

He smiled and looked at me, " Bridgit, Truth or Dare?" I thought about it, since I never really do Dares, but it was 11:57pm before it was July 5th, so I spoke," Dare!" He looked like he was shocked, since he knows I hate Dares so much, because it always is something terrible.

He cleared his throat and then finally spoke, " I Dare you to date me for 3 months." After he said that I froze and felt my heart drop to my stomach, that's when our friends looked at me, " Bridgit" , he said snapping his fingers in front of me and I started to focus again.

" Do I have too?" I asked hoping he would let me back out of this Dare, " Yes you have too, it's a Dare." He said smiling at me with his bright smile of his. I took a deep breath," Fine, yes I will date you for 3 months" I said rolling my eyes, " Deal!" He said as he stuck his arm out and I stuck my arm out and shook his hand," Deal, even though I'm not going to be happy about this at all Joshua." I said disgusted by agreeing to all this.

When we looked around, Olivia, Sofia and Larry were gone to bed, and I looked at the clock and it was 1:30am, " I'm guessing the game is over," He said noticing everyone went to bed, " I guess I'll go to bed, goodnight Josh." I said and got up and went toward the girls room, " Goodnight Babe!" He said walking towards his room, I rolled my eyes and walked into the room and went to lay on a pallet I made to sleep on. " What did I get myself into?" I said as I slowly started to fall asleep.
