And with these whispers and people asking their dates out the days passed by like a river running, and with a blink of an eye, it was October.

"Prewett, stop fooling around! Focus on your training!!" Celeste exclaimed as she hovered over the ground, and glared at the goofing beater.

"On it!" Rose Prewett shouted back as she got into her position.

"I don't want to lose the quidditch cup because of our stupidity!" Celeste exclaimed as she got her hand on the quaffle and showed a move to one of the new chasers.

And after hours of practice, Celeste dismissed the quidditch team, got changed back into her school uniform, and walked out of the changing room with her team.

Newt was standing in front of the changing room, awkwardly shifting on his feets. The team looked at Celeste, before walking away, giggling among themselves.

"Waiting for someone?" Celeste teasingly asked Newt, who looked up from his feet, and went red almost immediately.

"I..I just wanted to ask you to walk to black lake." Newt suttered a bit but looked in the greenish yellow eyes and offered her a smile.

"Why not. I was going to ask you about that anyways." Celeste said, nodding her head.

While walking, they caught the day's events, like they always did. Talking about classes they didn't share and sadly they didn't share care of magical creatures this year. It was Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.

"So ready for the game tomorrow?" Newt asked as they sat by a tree by the bank of black lake. Their bodies touched each other.

"Yeah, I hope I come out as a good captain." Celeste said as she placed her head on her knees and stared the forest ahead.

"From what I have heard, you are a really great captain. Don't be nervous about this." Newt said, assuring the gryffindor.

"You sure about me being a great captain?" Celeste asked as she turned her head to look at him.

"I am pretty sure that you are. Believe me, you will prove to be the greatest quidditch captain." Newt said, laughing at the expression Celeste gave him.

"I will hold on to you for that." Celeste said, chuckling and lifting her head, and inhaling the air.

Wind moved through the forest, grazing their bodies. The wind made a strand of loose hair fall over her face. It tickled her nose.

Newt's hand reached out and tucked away the strand of her hair behind her ears. Blush spread across his cheek, but he smiled at the blonde.

Their eyes met briefly, steely blue eyes clashing with Yellowish green eyes. Celeste's eyes scanned Newt's face.

Freckles scattered on his face, making him appear more beautiful in the eyes of Celeste. And in the moment of eye locking, neither of them addressed their bodies leaning towards each other.

Now their lips were hovering each other, making Newt's and Celeste's breath hitch in their throat.

Newt looked into Celeste's eyes, in a way of asking for permission and making sure he wasn't stepping out of the line, to which Celeste smiled.

She leaned forward and attached her lips to Newt's, shocking him. His eyes became wide as saucers, but he kissed her back, softly.

Celeste pulled away, and stared at Newt's eyes, and a smile tugged on her lips, and soft blush settled on her pale cheeks.

"Wow." Celeste managed to speak out as she continued to stared at now totally pink at face Newt.

"I- I am rendered speechless." Newt said as he stared at Celeste, before smiling brightly at her and wrapping his hands around her body.

"I fancy you so much that I am scared that I will lose you." Newt spoke up, after breaking the comfortable silence settled between them.

"And what gave you the idea of you losing me?" Celeste asked as she turned her head up to look at Newt.

"My power to overthink. I still have to tell myself that everything that is happening in my life is true, and not something my brain drafted." Newt admitted as his grip on Celeste's body tightened a bit.

"You do not have to worry about this. And your brain should acknowledge that I am here, in your arms. And I fancy you too. Let me show you." Celeste said, confusing Newt at the end.

Celeste leaned up and placed a small peck on his lips before settling down back again and stared off at the distance, hiding her reddening face.

Newt chuckled as he placed his chin on Celeste's head. "We should probably head back in. The sun is setting." Newt remarked as his eyes scanned the orangish sky.

"Probably yeah, though I don't mind sitting here with you the whole day." Celeste said as she leaned forward and turned around to face him.

"Neither would I, but our stomach would protest our stupidity." Newt joked and his smile was so brilliant that the skin around his eyes wrinkled.

Celeste stood up and brushed his robes and extended her hand for Newt to take. He grabbed her hand and stood up.

"We should do this more often." Celeste suggested as she interlaced her fingers with Newt's.

"Yeah surely. And I know I should do this another way, but I can't resist this." Newt spoke up as they neared the castle.

Celeste hummed, as a signal for him to go on. "So will you be my partner for the Christmas ball?" Newt asked, gazing at Celeste.

"Like you had to ask. Of course I will." Celeste answered, smiling widely and looking at Newt. He gave her a radiant smile.

And as midnight arrived, Celeste found herself crowded by her friends.

"Tell me what happened while you were taking a walk on the banks of Black lake. You are practically glowing!" Helena demanded as she narrowed her eyes at Celeste.

Celeste hid her face, only her eyes visible to her group of friends. "I-uh-I- we kissed." Celeste stuttered, blushing creeping on her cheeks.

Helena threw her fist in the air as a way of celebrating. "Hell yeah! Finally!!! I thought I would be an old lady by the time you both kissed!" Helena exclaimed before sitting properly in her seat.

"How was it?" Grace asked eagerly, her eyes practically glowing with eagerness and excitement.

"Like a kiss?" Celeste offered, confused by her friend's question. Grace's face palmed before looking back at Celeste.

"How was the kiss? Like soft, smooth or bumpy? Everyone has their own first experience." Grace specified on the topic.

"Oh." Celeste muttered before licking her lips, and hiding her blushing face behind her book again, only eyes were visible to her friends.

"It was very much like Newt himself. Soft and tender." Celeste mutter before closing her eyes and letting the blush assault her face.

"Aww our baby is practically red in shyness." Helena cooed and smiled at her best friend. Celeste snapped her book shut and stood up.

"I am going to sleep." Celeste muttered, her hair hiding her blushing cheeks and she dashed towards her dormitory.

Once in the emptiness of her dorm, Celeste smiled unconsciously and removed her school robe and placed it on the chair and took her pajamas and swiftly changed into them.

She laid on her four poster bed, and covered her body with a thick duvet. Her mind was occupied with previous events, and the smile was not ready to leave her face, not that she minded it.

And with those thoughts ragging in her head, sleep overcame her senses and long before she knew, the dream world welcomed her.
