You're the one I want~Solomon x reader

"Solomon! Solomon!" A voice hissed. Solomon blinked, fazed.

The ivory head human blinked, with his body all over his table- half asleep. His hands caged his open maths book as he was sleeping for who knows how long. His fellow human to his right was tapping his arm, briskly so the professor wouldn't see. She didn't want him to get caught, his head snapped up and the professor was making his way down the aisles. 

He just had escaped detention as well as Y/N, his hand reflexively picked up his pencil writing down the notes on the board that he should've written before. Y/N breathed in relief and she returned to her work. He was going to thank her after this period.

"I owe you one Y/N, if you didn't get me up in time I would've been done for," says Solomon, running a hand through his hair. The girl next to him smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

"Mhm, you'd do the same for me so- it would only make sense for me to do so," 

The human girl looked away a light tinge drifting across her cheeks, Solomon grinned at himself nodding his head. He too felt something for Y/N, I mean they were both humans and were in the same situation.

They'd had to rely on each other for the few weeks, getting through classes, getting homework done and most of all make sure either one of them was okay. So naturally, he felt something for Y/N, he knew it was more than a friendship, he wanted something more but he didn't want to ruin how they were now. For now, he was only hoping that Y/N felt the same he did for her. He just wanted to tell her, he thought to himself I'll take any chance anytime.

They both headed up to the roof and ate lunch there, away from everyone else. The heat today was hotter than yesterday, who knew Devildom had weather swings every now again? Sitting under the sunshade they dug into their food.

The first ten minutes were tranquil and how it usually would be on a daily basis until the thought of confessing swept through Solomon's mind. His palms started going clammy from anxiety and nervousness. Was he actually going to do this?

"Solomon? Are you okay?" asks Y/N, sitting on her heels.

She came forward and tapped his nose making him blink. He turned a dark crimson, he opened his mouth to open his mouth closed it shut. Y/N glanced at him questioningly at his flustered state.

"Y-Yeah I-I'm alright," He says, putting his bento back into his bag and started packing up everything. He stood up and Y/N reached his hand, clasping it with hers.

"Hey, where are you going? We have 20 minutes until the period, you're not really gonna leave here right?"

Solomon discreetly bit the inside of his cheek, he was going to get too flustered and make her feel uncomfortable around him. He glanced at his 'watch' and dashed to the door, Y/N's face frowned and held her hand out to stop him.

"I-uh I've got to finish something bye!" and that was the end of the conversation of Solomon and Y/N.

There was no watch alright, once Solomon dashed out I packed my things away and tried to catch up to him. It was no use he was long gone and I wonder what made his so unfordable so quickly, did I do something wrong? I took my D.D.D out and texted him.

Y/N

Solomon are you okay? Did I do something wrong to make you uncomfortable?

Solomon

You did nothing wrong don't worry, I just have something to finish off. I'll see you in History soon.

Y/N

Okay then, see you then <3

That didn't really explain why he dashed out suddenly, I sighed and shoved the device into my skirt pocket. I headed to my locker and took out my history books. Right after that, I headed into my classroom where I hoped Solomon was there.

Solomon looked both ways and made sure Y/N wasn't in sight, he then shuffled and slipped a note into her locker before heading to their next class together.
