Growing up, we were together. We were inseparateable. She was my bestfriend. It's was always me and her. Jdha and Kristina. We told each other everything, even the inappropriate. We never left each others side. Not at school, not in public and not even at home. Why would we need to? We even shared the same room until we were 15, and even after, we'd still find a way back to each other some how. God made us twins for a reason. We were to never be separated no matter what. Best friends forever. She knew all of my secrets, I knew all of hers. It was us against the world. I'd never put anybody before Kristina. Our bond was one of a kind. One day we decided to ask mom which one was older.
she kissed our foreheads and said
"If you guys were supposed to be in age competition, you wouldn't be twins"
I mean I guess she was right. It didn't matter anyway because older or younger she was still my sister.
After we turned 16, things started becoming more..i don't know, teenage-ish I guess . We didn't want to be under each other all the time, we got boyfriends, and we started focusing on life after high school.
She wanted to be a police officer and me, a nurse. she'd shoot them and send them to me and I'd give them right back to her.
But even that didn't break our bond. At the end of the day, we knew that we were sisters identical twins at that, and even if we wanted to, we could never turn against each other. We were all we had. Mom called us the Iso twins, So we made it our YouTube channel name & ur shared social media accounts. Even strangers loved us. We dance together, tell story times on YouTube, do pranks and give advice. I loved her like I loved no one else.
Life with my sister was amazing. Until it wasn't anymore.
Who knew we'd only share one more laugh together. One more gossip conversation. One more twin instinct thought. One more hug..
I'll never forget that morning.
