1950 sort of a background on the two

George and Polly began to really like each other, they were only 7 but they did have a lot in common.

Polly ran down her street with George every afternoon rushing back to play with each other, they had only known each other 3 months and you would consider them to be like siblings they were so close!

"hurry up George you slow poke!"

Polly would yell

"wait up Polly!"

George would reply out of breath.

Polly ran to her house eager to get in and play with George.

she knocked on the door violently.

"Mummy! Daddy?"

soon enough her mother came to the door, Polly pushed past her leading a puffed out George behind her.

Polly took George up to her room shutting the door behind her.

they threw there school bags on Polly's bed and started playing make believe.

after continuous hours of playing Polly and George laid down on her bed facing the ceiling.

"George"

"yeah?"

"what do you want to be when you grow up?"

he thought for a second

"hmm my parents want me to be a mechanic."

Polly frowned

"no what do you want to be?"
he smiled lightly

"well polyester I want to be a rock star and learn how to play guitar!"

Polly smiled but rolled her eyes a the silly nickname he gave her.

" I think you should become a rock star George!"

"really?"

"yeah!"

the two lay speechless on Polly's bed, Polly was the curious type she always wants to know things about people, she is quite intelligent for her age.

they were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"come in!"
Polly yelled

her father opened the door with a camera in hand.

" I want to take a photo of you to so I can capture the moment!"

George smiled an nodded

so Polly jumped on him and George wrapped his arms around her waist, Polly's head was ilap.

"say Cheese!"

"Cheessseeeeee"

George and Polly both said, exaggerating the 'e'.

"beautiful!"

her father pulled the picture out and handed it to the two kids.

they both smiled

"Polly do you think we'll be friends forever?"

George asked

poly looked up to him from the picture and smiled.

"friends forever"

George smiled and handed her the photo.

Polly stuck the photo oh her wall. Future days she will always remember this moment.

and so will George.
