"Dammit! We have school tomorrow!" TJ complained.

We all groaned.

After we were done eating, we left and went to the mall to see the movie Mocking Jay part 1.

Dawn's POV

I woke up in my bed, with a wet wash cloth on my forehead.

Then, I remembered what Jim did.

I slowly tried to sit up, but quickly stopped when my stomach and chest started to feel like it was on fire.

I winced and laid back down.

Then, the bedroom door opened.

"Your awake! Oh thank gawd!" I heard Jesse say, as he rushed over to my side.

"How did I get here?" I groggily asked, referring to my room.

"I carried you. You aren't heavy, like at all. Your, actually, as light as a feather. Literally" he said, confusion twisting on his face.

He doesn't know I don't eat. No
One does. He thinks I have enough money to get him and myself food. And I'd like to keep it that way.

"What happened after... he... Did he touch you?" I asked, worried

"Don't worry. He left, after
he was done" he said, knowing what I meant.

I sighed, thankful he didn't hurt Jesse.

"Thank you, for... you know..." I trialled off.

"Of course. You don't need to thank me for taking care of you, Sis. You'd do it for me. Well.. You kinda already do, but, uh, you know what I mean." He said smiling.

Though, it didn't reach his eyes.

Then, his small smile fell into a frown.

"I was scared..." he said, looking down at his feet.

I was about to ask him what he was scared of, but he started talking again.

"It's Sunday afternoon... you were beat, until you were out cold, on Saturday morning." He said, one tear running down his face, but one, soon turned into many.

Dammit! I thought I was only out for, like, an hour.

I held back my own tears, as I pulled him into a hug.

"I'm okay now. It's okay" I said, trying to calm him down.

When he was calm, he helped me get up, so I could take a shower.

I winced when I stood up, dizziness hitting me like a ton of bricks.

I wobbled to my closet, and looked for something to wear.

Then, I got an idea.

"Is father back yet?" I asked

"No. He's been gone since yesterday." He replied.

"Wanna go to the movies?" I asked

"With what money?" He asked

"I can take some from Jim." I said, shrugging.

"He'll be too drunk to notice" I added

"Are you sure that's a good idea? You can barley walk." He said, worry very clear on his face, and in his eyes.

"I'm fine, Jess. Come on, we haven't had a 'Brother Sister Date' in so long!" I said, slightly begging.

"Okay. Fine. But only because it's a 'Brother Sister Date' " he said, grinning.
