I have cherished you a lot
Adored you endlessly
Admired you the most
And had promised to be with you
all the time
'told you nobody's perfect
But we can be that nobody if we want to
I can write you thousands of letters
Just to see you smile so you can feel those butterflies inside your stomach
I can sing you a song nonstop
So you can lay down and sleep
I'll learn how to cook so you won't have
to wake up early to prepare
for our breakfast
I won't let you ruin your beautiful hands
From cleaning and washing dishes
Instead, I will hold it with my hands
And keep it inside my pocket
