WRITING SAVES MY SOUL
Everything that life throws at me is more than horrifying
These unexpected events are making me wince, so terrifying
I can be honest with myself and face the truth that hides
Pretending with all those masks, finally done with taking sides
Whether it's typing on my computer or writing on my journal, just to say what i want
Not caring if some words are misspelled. whatever.. I'll speak my mind, I'll even rant
I feel a warm breeze whenever i write something new
Relief and happiness fills me like whenever i see the grass filled with drops of dew
Refreshed and energized that made me want to dance
Letting my emotions run wild and free, so i just let myself prance
My eeriest darkest of days turn into a sparkling, morning sunshine
I love to express myself, don't take it from me, It's rightfully mine
Every experience and memory I've been thoughout the years
Looking back to the memories, my eyes can't help but to let out tears
That's why all of them understand why writing is what i love
Unafraid to try, flying out into the open just like a dove
Whenever i can't fully open up to someone
I write what i feel then try to gather up my courage to fix what's done
When the things that keep happening are seemingly wrong
I let my emotions out through writing, just like a simple song
