Dazai nodded his head as curiosity filled him.  Was she going to use a code on them?  Would it work on him?  Not if she or the ability touched him...

She took a deep breath before saying, "Code: Database - Privacy Mode.  When I say so, lead the way out of here.  I can't hold this code on both of us for too long, especially since you gave me a hangover."

The pale blue light wrapped itself around the pair as Dazai's eyes widened in awe. Rather than the ability touching them, it extended as almost a forcefield of sorts.  As long as they remained in her space, they would be hidden.

When the light subsided she opened her eyes once more before saying, "Go, now!"

Dazai opened the door and silently jogged down the hallway with her following close behind.

They ran silently past the guards with no signal that the pair was there other than a slight wind that hit the guards as they passed.

Right.

Left.

Right.

and down the stairs.

Another right.

Left.

Left.

And the pair were finally at the large loading door that leads to freedom.

She was running out of energy fast, she'd be out cold in another 2 minutes if she didn't disable her ability.  Privacy Mode was by far the most tiring code to use.  Add in a second person to that and it will sap her energy like a sponge.

Dazai leads the way around to the back of the building before hopping a short wooden fence that she had used earlier to prepare her break-in.

As soon as he was over the fence he turned around and pulled the girl down from the fence and into his arms before saying to her, "Take a break, now.  You weren't supposed to be here in the first place."

She collapsed into his arms before gasping out a large breath as she felt her energy no longer being sapped by her ability.

Her headache from her hangover began to merge with the exhaustion her ability brought about her.  The slight twinge of the headache had morphed into a painful migraine. She clenched her eyes shut and buried her face into his chest to keep the sunlight from hitting her eyes.  She groaned in pain as her knees became weak.

Dazai was smirking at the woman's somewhat intimate contact.  Oh, how he wanted to just lift her in his arms and carry her somewhere she would be comfortable and safe.  But, would she want that?  She'd always flush whenever he'd take her arm in his own as they walked.  He was sure if he'd carry her, she'd turn as red as a tomato.

"Aren't you going to take me somewhere safer than this, idiot..."

His eye's widened slightly before he smirked and said, "Did you just read my mind?!"

"I don't need to read the mind of someone just like me... now let's go."

He brought one arm and set it behind her back while using his other arm to sweep her off her feet.  She kept her eyes closed the entire walk while keeping her face as hidden from the sun in his jacket as she could in her position.

She didn't care if anyone saw them, she just wanted to get somewhere semi-dark and sleep off this pain she was in.  She hadn't used this much of her energy in a long time, and she felt awful.

She heard a door chime before hearing Dazai say, "Don't mind her, she's had a long day.  Room for Dazai Osamu, Miss.  Are all of the amenities I requested there?"

(Y/n) heard the familiar tapping of a keyboard before a woman's voice spoke, "Everything requested is in the room.  Here is your room key.  You'll be on the fourth floor, room 10.  If you want to request a meal, there are menus in the rooms for the restaurant and cafe.  Otherwise, there are kitchen areas in the rooms as well."

"Will do.  Thanks, Miss."

She wasn't very focused on her surroundings, so she didn't even notice she was in their room until she felt herself be lowered onto a soft surface.

She impulsively latched onto the coat she was hiding in before she heard Dazai chuckle out, "Relax, you can open your eyes.  The blinds are closed and the lights are off.  I'm only setting you on the futon."

She groaned and released the man before peeking her eyes open.  There was just enough light to see, but not enough to destroy her brain cells.

She slumped onto the bed before turning towards the man and saying, "Thanks."

He smiled at her before saying, "That's my line. I never expected you to show up at the factory, only to dinner so I could recover here afterward.  But it seems like you've taken more of a hit than me."

She smiled softly towards as she laid on her side to face him.  "If I didn't go, you would probably have been late for our date.  Actually, when I left the restaurant you were already late for our date..."

Dazai's eye widened as mischief flashed through his eyes and he said, "So, it was a date to you and not just dinner?!  Yay~"

She lazily rolled her eyes before wincing in pain once more.  She could feel slumber beginning to close in on her mind.  She shut her eyes before mumbling out, "What was it to you when you offered?  An escape, just dinner, or a date?"

"A date, of course."

A small smile formed o her lips as she whispered out one last sentence before sleep overtook her.

"Well---

---I wasn't expecting that answer..."
