She ran inside the building and down the hallways the screen told her to follow. He had moved since she'd last checked his location, so he was at least still alive.
She slipped past the guards without a sound before silently opening the door that was separating her from Dazai.
Her stomach was in knots. What if he was injured badly and had she had to help him out she wouldn't be able to get them out easily with his nullification ability. But, she had a feeling he'd thought this entire event out. He was probably only barely injured, allowing her to use her ability to hide themselves.
That damn genius... I should never have told him all my codes and their scopes.
She silently opened the door that separated his tracking bug from her, and walked around the large towers of servers before planting a bug into one of them. As long as this bug was here, she'd forever have access to all of the files stored here. Score 1 for (Y/n), 0 for the Port Mafia!
As she silently closed the door behind her, she disabled her abilities to conserve her energy. She already felt physically weaker after just five minutes of using all those coed simultaneously, but it had to be done.
She began peeking around the large server towers, before seeing Dazai hunched over another computer and humming to himself. She got the urge to scare him... or surprise him at least...
She silently walked behind the man, out of sight.
She held her hands up, ready to grab him from behind.
As she took her hands and gripped his sides she whisper-yelled, "Found you!"
He jumped slightly before sending an elbow into her stomach, causing her to keel over and cough at the attack.
She saw her database slowly disintegrate as a result of his ability taking effect.
"Ow... Dazai, why did you do that?!"
He turned and saw just who was behind him before exclaiming, "(Y/n)! What are you doing here?! I gave you a hangover so you wouldn't be here!"
Through her coughs, she remembered something else from the night before that she'd forgotten.
He had her drinks topped off a few times last night and thought nothing of it at the time.
But now, she'd realized that he was the reason she was hungover... and he was the reason she would have a bruise on her stomach...
She stood to her feet before pointing a finger at the man and poking his chest while accusing, "What the hell were you thinking huh?! You went and got yourself kidnapped by the mafia just to get information, didn't you!? What the hell makes you think you can do that and I can't?! Huh?! I thought you invited me to that restaurant because you wanted me to come to get you out?! Turns out it would have just been easier for you to drop by and eat after escaping here, RIGHT?!"
Dazai cupped a hand over her mouth before bringing her close to his face and whispering, "Careful now, we'll be caught."
She blushed at their close contact while nodding in understanding. He gently took his hand off of her mouth before saying, "Now, let's go."
He pulled a flash drive out of the computer before grabbing her hand and walking to the door.
She pulled her hand back before saying, "We'll be seen, there are guards everywhere, but they have a pretty mediocre rotation. I've already figured it out."
"Yeah, I know that. But it is not mediocre, I'm the one who made this guard rotation!"
"It's mediocre, but I don't feel like waiting around for an opening, so give me a second and don't touch me until we're out of here or else we're dead, got it!"
