(Y/n) clenched her fists before the man realized what he had said.  "(Y/n)--"

"I am a killer too.  I was used...  So why is her case any different?  You saved me so lets save her!"

He sighed and said, "The only way to protect her would be to make her a member of the Agency.  She has yet to take the exam, and she seems to have a tendency to use her knife over using her head.  If we plan to test her virtue we need Dazai here for that, his exams always give good results."

It was her turn to sigh before she said, "You mentioned he hasn't shown up either, is he hungover in his dorm?"

The man shook his head and said, "He can surely hold his alcohol, so I at least expected to find him here with you."

She furrowed her brows and said, "Why would he be here when I am the one who's hungover?"

Yukichi blatantly said, "Because you two have become very close."

She held her hands up defensively before saying, "Y-you're crazy!  W-we are not THAT close!"

He took another sip of his tea before saying, "If I'm not mistaken, he was here the previous morning after you went drinking.  I also believe you were not hungover that morning, he was just here after spending the night.  But, that wasn't the night Atsushi was here, it was a separate occasion.  Meaning, he has been here a total of two nights, three if you include him dropping you off here this morning."

Her face flushed as she remembered that did in fact happen a few days ago...

She ran her hand through her hair and frustratedly said, "Damn, you're right..."

"Language."

"I'm 21."

He took another sip of his tea before saying, "So, you've no idea where Dazai is?"

She shook her head and said, "Do I look like I'm in any shape to know where he is?"

He frowned and said, "No, you look deplorable."

"Thanks, Dad-san..."

...

...

"I should shower..."

"Indeed.  I'll wait and walk you to the Agency."

She swatted him down the stairs before saying, "Yeah, yeah, just don't peak or anything, I'll throw you off the balcony."

"I wouldn't dare."

As the warm water hit her body, she could feel herself begin to push through the fog caused by her hangover before she said, "Code: Database-- track Bug 299."

The screen flashed to life in front of her as she rinsed the shampoo from her hair and waited for her map to tell her the location of the bug she'd placed in one of the hidden pockets of Dazai's jacket the morning after they'd drank together for the first time.

She had placed it there for times like this when she'd have a strange feeling in her stomach.  If Yukichi didn't know where he was, and he wasn't around her or the office, then it may be something serious...  But... he might have just jumped off another bridge.

After a few moments passed, a small blinking dot appeared on her map and it zoomed in on his possible location.

Some random factory by one of Yokohama's many ports? What on earth was he doing there?

She ran some conditioner through her hair before saying, "Code: Database -- Messages."

The screen showed her all of her missed calls, texts, and emails. She didn't see anything from the detective other than the directions he'd given her to the restaurant they were to meet at later.
