"Doctor!" You yelled out as you wandered around the TARDIS. You couldn't find the console room and the TARDIS wasn't helping you, stupid old box. "Doctor!"

After running a bit more, you felt tears come to your eyes. You were inevitably lost. The TARDIS wasn't helping, the Doctor couldn't hear you, and for all you knew, you were probably going further into the TARDIS.

You started crying and leaned against the wall, slowly sliding down. You felt lost and hopeless. You were scared beyond your imagination... Doctor help me...

You let a few more tears fall as your head rested on your knees. You started to hyperventilate. What if the Doctor can't find you? What if you're stuck here forever? What if you die?

You pull out your phone, tears streaming down quicker now as you struggle to breathe. You dial "1" and press call. Yes, the Doctor is your speed dial.

"Ugh how do you work this bloody thing..." You heard the Scottish accent of your grumpy doctor growl out quietly. "(Y/n)? Can you hear me?"

"Y-Y-Yeah, I-I..." You started crying again and could practically feel the Doctor becoming awkwardly panicked.

"(Y/n) what's wrong? What is it?" He asked with strong concern in his voice.

"I'm lost! I'm in the TARDIS and I'm lost!" You cried out. "I-I walked out of my room to search f-for you and the TARDIS wouldn't let me go to the console room! S-So I-I kept walking a-a-and- doctor please come help me!"

The sound of your broken and scared voice broke the Doctor's hearts. "Of course. Stay on the phone, (y/n). I'm going to direct you to me." He mumbled something about human life signs. "Ah. You're far in there, aren't you? Walk forward a few paces so I know which way you're facing."

You nod and stand, letting out a shaky breath. You walk forward a few steps and the Doctor tells you to stop. "Turn around and walk forward. First hall on your left."

You do as he says and he continues to instruct you to where he is. Each step makes you feel a bit better knowing you're on the way to the Doctor.

"I'm in my bedroom. Not the console room. I'll instruct you to the console room so don't panic when I'm not there. Left here."

You let out another shaky breath and whipe your eyes. You walk into the console room and smile. "God, thank you Doctor. You're a literal life saver. I-I thought I was going to die..."

He chuckles a little on the other side of the phone. "Not with me, darling. I'm coming now. Sit."

You do as instructed and he hangs up. A few seconds later he walks in with... a box?

"A thank you. For looking after me since I had huge ears." He smiles fondly at you as he hands you the box.

"Doctor!" You laugh. "You didn't have to!"

"Just open it, pudding brain."

You know it's an insult, but when the Doctor says it to you, he means it in a playful banter way. You slowly peel off the gift wrap and open the box, seeing little fuzzy paws.

"OH MY HOLY RAVIOLIS IS THAT A CAT?" You squealed, picking the cute little kitty up.

You play with it's cute little toe beans and pet it.

"Yes. She's a girl. Russian blue." The Doctor smiled.

"Are we keeping her?" You asked, your eyes snapping up to the stormy grey of the Doctor's.

"No, I just gave you a kitten wrapped up in a nice little box and a bow so that I can take her back to the shelter." He stated sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

You punch his arm playfully before standing and placing the cute little baby up on his shoulder. She started licking his ear, making you laugh. "She likes you!"

"She's yours not mine." The Doctor grabbed the kitten and handed her back to me. "Are you going to name her or what?"

"Picking out the perfect name takes a bit, alright? Now shush." You smiled a little.

"Yes boss."

You think for a second and hold the kitten up to you. "Astrid. Or Ame- nevermind. Astrid, definitely Astrid." You stop yourself from suggesting Amelia. Sometimes you wonder if the Doctor even remembers Amy...

"Astrid, lovely name." The Doctor walks up to the console.

You grin and walk over to him, placing the kitten down on the console for a second before bringing him into a hug. He struggles for a second but then sighs and hugs you back, knowing he can't stop you.

"Thank you, Doctor." You grin.

You place Astrid on top of his fluffy hair and giggle before taking a picture, to which your grumpy old man rolls his eyes. Nothing could be better than this.
