I sat under the jungle canopy staring up confused. The scream of incoming missile alarms pierced my ears.I waited with my Special Forces team in the jungle for the confirmed enemy projectile to land on our location.It was Saturday, January 13th 2018 and we were in Hawaii conducting Jungle training.The team was calm. Everyone acknowledged that it was either a false alarm or it was real. Honestly, there is no way to prepare for an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM)It was a false alarm.It was eventually determined that someone falsely hit the "Incoming Missile Alarm" button in the Hawaii air defense facility.We had a few great laughs and it helped us bond with the US Army Jungle school students.Waikiki memories.
