On the soft ground,
she slept through the hard rejection.
The prince seemed so right.
She helped her hero win a crown,
and he abandoned her to the sod
of desert island.

The stranger dripping in charisma
and swathed in bad decisions
woke her, saved her.
The last likely culprit
in a rescue mission, he remained.
He promised through his bad reputation and remained.

A most unlikely savior,
the drunkard god remained
with the abandoned princess.
