You have heard of this Colony Project for a while now and after some deliberation, have decided to try out for the seat of captain. You know that you will never see this planet again, friends, family, pets, favorite places to eat, everything will be left behind, but you are willing to look to the future and maybe help find a way to keep the human race alive on another planet out in the sea of stars.

Earth is beginning to die and before the extinctions, the extreme weather, and the fighting gets out of hand. Ships, with small crews, are being built to send out to other other places in order to prepare the other planets in hope for survival, just in case the Earth cannot be fixed.

You walk into the volunteer office, seeing so many people that seem to come from all walks of life, sitting down to fill out the paperwork and read over the rules. Will any of these people end up on the same ship as you?

A lady behind a bullet proof glass looks up at you, handing you a clipboard with a small packet to fill out.

You make your way over to one of the few empty chairs, next to the gray trashcan and a low black table that is the same hight as the chairs that have all been pressed together in rows, the white wall at your back as you face towards the window where the lady that gave you the clipboard.

So you want to be a colonist? Well, here are some rules and guidelines you must adhere to.

1. This program has the right to refuse the admission of any candidate who is not qualified for this program.

<Yes this means I don't have to accept everyone, sorry, but deal with it.>

2. The positions will be assigned to each individual who tries out, only having a set number of seats per qualifying job per ship.

<This is an individual roleplay and so each of you will be given the seat for captain as the other twenty-four spots have been pre-made. Do NOT interfere with anyone else's voyage or in other words stay out of other people's roleplay!>

3. You must submit an accurate file and background check will be completed for each candidate.

<You have to fill out the whole form and it must be accurate! I don't want to see someone randomly ignore what has been submitted. Yes, characters can grow and develop, but they don't suddenly change. Also none of that, oh I FORGOT TO ADD NONSENSE!>

4. You must agree to all the terms and conditions in order to advance. You will also be held accountable to them through your voyage.

<You MUST follow all the rules. If you break the rules then you will be warned. If you still refuse to be compliant, then your roleplay will be terminated.>

5. You will be keeping a log of your journey along the way, the more detailed the better.

<This will be a descriptive simi-literate roleplay. This means you will need to use those additives, verbs, emotions, body language, ect in your replies. It is NOT about how many sentences or lines, but the CONTEXT of what are in them!>

[Bad example: He lookes over and smiles and then waves. He then asks, "Did you like the gift I made for you?" He asks with a smile.]

[Bad example: He smiled. He waved. "Did you like the gift?"]

[Good example: Tory slides his hands into his pockets as he glances over, seeing those lovely blue eyes he has come to adore. With a small smile settling on his face he lifts a hand out of his pocket for just a moment to give the girl a wave. He takes a soft breath before his voice holds a slight note of nerves embarrassment as he asks, "So, um... did you like the present I made for you?"]

<These all have very few sentences, but as you can see they all feel very different. This is what I'm talking about. Please also keep in mind not to repeat yourself a lot in one reply.>

6. Despite the growing acceptance of different gender identifiers and talk of potential claims for other species, we must go off of the physical sex of an individual.

<Look I have nothing against any of you, but for the parameters of this particular roleplay ALL candidates MUST be HUMAN and MUST be given a PHYSICAL gender of MALE or FEMALE. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS! If you have a trans character and feel uncomfortable about my rule, then either go post operation or don't join. Simple.>

7. Do not spam the communication channels and keep the waves clear. We understand the distress some might feel, but we have a whole network of crafts to look out for and there might end up to be some delays.

<I am just one person, I have two jobs, a husband, friends, family, play DnD, among many other rps, and just life happens! Be patient with me! Do NOT spam me! This includes reposting replies! Thank you.>

8. This is a job that you are on and thus you must keep your words clean and professional when communicating with others as much as possible.

<Refrain from cursing in abundance. I understand that at times it fits a situation, but if that is the case you MUST CENSOR them. The acceptable methods are to bleep out the whole word, $%&#, or bleep a single letter. You CANNOT use a mark above a letter such as à, ï, ô, ū, ĕ, since they are still too similar under a quick read. ALSO, words such as kill, or other hateful words get flagged in comments, so best censor that kind of thing as well.>

9. There are options on which method to track your travel log, please be sure to abide by the rules in any of the logs.

<I find PMS and Discord to be the best ways to rp, since it is flagged less and I won't loose the book as easily, however I will accept the comments, but be advised the censorship rule is most important for comment ones.>

10. Spreading the population and human race on the new planet is encouraged, however be mindful within your logs about this part.

<If you choose to rp in comments, then you will have to move smut elsewhere or skip it. If you chose to rp that part then, you must be in another accepted location for your log.>

11. Your form must include an example of how you will make your log.

<Along with submitting an OC you MUST provide an example of how your rp. I will NOT accept this on any other spot than the form. I will NOT remind you on that page. I will NOT accept a form without it.>

12. If you agree to these terms, please sign this page.

<If you accept and acknowledge these rules, then put your username and that you accept in the comments of this page. Example: Todom2 accepts.>
