Something Odd (A Zim X Reader)

*^-Five-^* "I NEED MORE DONUTS NOW!!"

"Woah..." I whispered, my face was heating up, he was so close to me! 

"HYUMAN! HOW DID YOU FIND ZIM'S LAB?!" He yelled at me, I started to panic, my adrenaline was kicking in.

"U-Uh. The trash can..?" My face held a nervous smile. I chuckled awkwardly as he growled at me.

"Zim, is this what inhabits your planet? I thought they all looked like that big-headed Dib hyuman." The purple one questioned. I almost laughed,

"Hey! We don't all look alike! All of us are different and special in our own way!" I yelled at the screen. Zim gripped my arm harder and growled at me.

"How dare you speak to the Tallest that way Hyuman-Y/N!! They are to be respected! You can't talk to them unless they ask!" Zim stated.

"Zim, we appreciate the praise but how stupid can you be to let a hyuman in your lab? You should take more security measures." The purple one gasped and pretended to sob. 

"I'M OUT OF DONUTS. SOMEONE!! I NEED MORE DONUTS NOW!!" He screeched, he ran out of frame, just to come back a minute later with a bag full of donuts. He sat down not saying a word.

"Anyways Zim! We will call next week, we need to focus on the war, we have no room for your stupidity and your plans. Goodbye!" And then the screen went black.

"Who was? What w-was?" I was stammering trying to understand what was happening. Zim stood next to me still gripping my arm.

"Of course your Hyuman brain couldn't comprehend the presence of the Almighty Tallest!" He puffed out his chest, trying to look smug. "They are the leaders of the Irken race! They call me once or twice every week to check-in on my AMAZING Invader skills! They count on Zim to take over Earth for their liking!" I gawked at how ignorant Zim was. They obviously seemed to dislike Zim, they both looked very annoyed and angry at Zim. 

"So.. You're trying to take over Earth??" I asked him. 

"Yes! For the Irken Race! It is every Invader's duty to take over their assigned planet!!" He looked toward me. "And you are going to join me!" 

"What! I don't I can't I would be betraying my own race!" I panicked more. How would I even take over the world anyway? But with Zim..?

"Hyuman? Are you okay?" Zim was worried the human's face was going pale. The girl started to shake.

"I-I'm sorry Zim! This is such a big situation you dumped me into! I need to think about this okay?" Zim sighed, he knew the human may need a few days at most to understand. He nodded and let go of the human's arm, feeling guilty for leaving a red claw mark where his hand used to rest. The human quickly fled to the elevator and headed straight back to their house. Zim sighed, he looked over to the corner of his lab where a broken machine sat.

"GIR!! GET DOWN HERE NOW!!" The Irken waited impatiently for his minion. Bounding down a nearby hallway Gir appeared.

"MASTAAA!!"

"GIR! Did you break my teleportation device?" He was angry, it was too often that Gir would come in and break his stuff. The robot looked down and cried.

"I'm sorrrreeee!!!!" The robot dramatically rolled around on the floor, giving Zim a migraine, he sighed, picking up the little robot he hugged him.

"GIR! Just- Don't break things okay? They are important." 

"Okay!"

Your POV 7 PM

"Mom! I'm Home!" I looked inside the kitchen to see my mom leaning against the counter,  she had a plate of spaghetti in her hands.

"Its 7 PM! What were you doing? You get off school at 3!" I sat at the small table in the center of the kitchen, mom placed the food in front of me.

"I'm sorry the principal wanted me to tutor a student that had terrible grades. We were studying at his house." I kept eating my food while talking to mom.

"Is it a boy?!" She looked at me with hopeful eyes, waiting for my answer.

"Uh, yes..?" I nervously chuckled, rubbing my arm as mom squealed in the background.

"What's his name?! Where does he live?! What's his favorite color? Does he like pie!? Is he cute?!???" Mom kept bugging me with questions while I was trying to put my plate in the sink. I sighed and started to walk down the hallway to my room.

"Can I talk about it tomorrow? I'm really tired. A lot of stuff happened today and I would like to go to bed." I said, yawning I now realized how tired I was.

"Ok honey, I'm sorry for pressuring you. I just want to help. Goodnight! I love you! And make sure you set an alarm so your not late to sckool tomorrow!" I laughed quietly to myself, closing my bedroom door behind me. Setting my alarm I laid down on my bed not bothering to change my clothes.

"I think today went pretty good, despite meeting an alien." That was my last thought as I drifted into a deep sleep.
