EPILOGUE

     after 6 years...

"Mommy, ate Lexus stole my barbie!"

"No, you're lying Lotus! Ask kuya if I really stole your barbie!"

"Kuya Edeus, 'di ba you saw her?" Pinigilan ko na ang tatlo bago pa sila mag-away-away.

"Stop na mga babies. Daddy will go home soon. Gusto niyo bang makita niya kayong nag-aaway-away?" Sabay sabay na umiling ang tatlo.

"But I did nothing, mom."

"Edeus Xavier, behave." Sita ko kay Edeus.

"It's not fair mom. You should scold them, not me." Tumango tango ako. Ang hirap magkaron ng triplets. Yes. Triplets. Five years old na rin sila. Ang panganay ay si Edeus Xavier, sinundan ni Lexus Ereni at ang bunso namin ay si Zephyra Lotus. Makukulit. Madalas pang mag-away-away.

"Daddy's home, where are my babies?" Sabay-sabay na lumapit sa may pintuan ang tatlo at sabay sabay rin silang yumakap kay Eryk.

"Good evening, dad." Simpleng bati ni Edeus.

"Dad, you know what, ate Lexus stole my barbie." Reklamo ni Lotus.

"No, dad. She's really lying. I'm telling the truth."

"If you're going to ask me, dad. I don't exactly know what happened." Kinarga ko si Edeus at kinurot ito sa ilong.

"Oo na, baby. Napakacute mo talaga." Humagikhik siya kaya naman hinalikan ko siya sa pisnge.

"How about me, honey? Where's my kiss?" Lumapit ako kay Eryk na karga sina Lotus at Lexus.

"Dad, mom. It's gross." Reklamo ni Lexus.

"They're actually sweet." Pagtanggi naman ni Lotus.

"Hep hep. Baka mag-away na naman ang mga baby ko." Awat ko sa kanila at natawa na lamang si Eryk at napailing.

"My babies." Isa isa niya kaming tiningnan at nakita ko ang pinakamasaya niyang mukha. Araw araw naman. "I love each and every one of you. I love you Edeus, I love you Lexus, I love you Lotus and I love you honey. Thank you for everything." Ngumiti ako kay Eryk at hinalikan siya. Hinalikan ko rin ang tatlo 'kong mga anak.

"Mahal na mahal ko rin kayo." Sabi ko.

"We love you too, dad, mom, ate Lexus and kuya Edeus." Ani Lotus.

"I love you too." Sagot naman ni Lexus.

"Me too." Sagot naman ni Edeus.

This is my family. My one of a kind family. Wiese.
