Christmas (Chrom x Summoner!Reader)

Pearly white snow glowed in the night sky as it covered the vast fields that once used to be grass. Oh, how I love Christmas so much! I sat down on the edge of my balcony, feeling the cold wind rushed through my hoodie and my hair. "(Y/n). You gotta be careful. You might just fall off the edge." I heard a voice. Surprised, I slipped off the balcony and thought, 'That's the end of  me!' I thought in my head. "(Y/n)!". Someone caught my hand. I looked up to see... Who was it again? "U-Uh... Thank you?" That sounded more like a question
"I shouldn't of surprised you, shouldn't I?" The man in Christmas attire said as he pulled me up. "Thank you... I might of forgotten your name..." I mumbled as I scratched my head
"It's Chrom." The man, Chrom, said
"Thanks, Chrom." I whispered. Silence filled the night sky. "What do you need?" I asked rather quickly. Chrom smiled and handed me a small box wrapped red and gold. "O-Oh! Thank you Chrom." I mumbled, smiling from ear to ear
"Why are you doing this?" I asked
"It is Christmas. Both in yours, mine, and Askr." Chrom replied
"Thank you, once again... I... I-I don't have anything in return..." I murmured
"It is okay. Just seeing you smile gives me enough pleasure." Chrom said, smiling. I blushed. I forgot I was still smiling. "Oh yeah, Prince Alfonse needs you.  In the common room. I'll be there too." Chrom said and silence filled the air once again. "I'll take my leave." Chrom said. I sighed and placed the box on my desk. I should wait until Christmas to open the box. I sighed and left to the common room to meet up with Alfonse.

Once I was at the common room in the fifth floor, I spotted Lucina, who had a neatly wrapped present, as small as mine. "Hey Lucina!" I exclaimed as she examined her present. "Oh! Hey (Y/n). Did you get a present from da-" Lucina coughed, "Chrom?" Lucina finished. I giggled. "I know Chrom is your dad, Lucina." I whispered as I leaned closer to her. Lucina smiled and looked at her present, smiling. "Robin got a present too. It's as small as mine." Lucina pointed out. I looked over at the female Robin who was talking to Alfonse. "I thought Chrom liked Cordelia, right? I spotted her with Chrom getting a giant present that had different sizes of presents in it." I said. Lucina looked at me, surprised and huffed. Adjusting her seating. "What's wrong with Cordelia?" I asked and before Lucina could answer, Sharena, Anna and Cordelia came in, Chrom following Cordelia behind like a lost puppy. "Okay, everyone is here. We now can begin our battle in the world of the Sacred Stones. We will be fighting Eirika, who she had gladly excepted to fight us." Alfonse said. I looked at Ephraim who was gaping at Alfonse, eyes wide. "E-Eirika?" Ephraim stammered. I crawled to Ephraim and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You don't have to go..." I whispered as tears began forming in Ephraim's eyes
"I never new I had to fight my sister. It's... It's unforgivable!" Ephraim exclaimed, quietly
"Mercedes had to fight her brother when she was in the world of Three Houses." I whispered back. Ephraim sighed and nodded. I smiled and went back to sit next to Lucina. "(Y/n), what units will you be choosing?" Alfonse asked and everyone's eyes were on me. I blushed. "U-Um... I'll choose Cordelia and Chrom and..." I hesitated and looked at Ephraim. He shook his head. "Mercedes and Lucina." I finished. Alfonse nodded. 

I got out my Briedablick. I aimed at an empty war and triggered the gun like object. A portal appeared with, golden, shining lines outlining it. "C'mon, guys, let's go." I said, my voice trembling. Even  though Lucina didn't want Cordelia with Chrom, I still brought her with me. Cordelia was currently flirting with Chrom. I glanced at Lucina, who was glaring at me. I shivered and entered the portal, Mercedes following me. "Hello, Mercedes." I greeted with a smile and a wave
"Hello, (Y/n). How were my cookies? Were they nice?" Mercedes asked in her angelic voice
"They were amazing!" I shouted as we entered to the world of the Sacred Stones. I spotted Eirika and Seth with a few other soldiers. "Hello, Princess Eirika, Seth." I greeted as I bowed
"Do not bow, (Y/n). This a battle." Eirika said with a sad smile
"How's Ephraim going?" Eirika asked. My face suddenly turned sombre. I knew Eirika knew that Ephraim was in Askr and he knew that Eirika knew. "H-He's... He's doing great, Eirika." I replied. "Well, let the battle begin." Eirika sighed and took out her rapier. "Mounted Units! Aim for the tactician." Eirika commanded
"Wha-!?" I exclaimed. I searched around for the mounted units. Unfortunately, they were right next to me. I squealed and ran for my life. I couldn't command to the other units. I rushed past Cordelia and Chrom, fighting side by side like a cute couple. Ugh! I shouldn't be thinking about them. "(Y/n)!" Chrom shouted. I glanced at him for quite a few seconds and then I tripped, tumbling down a.. Hill?! How did that get their? I screamed out in pain as cuts and sharp blades of grass stabbed into my tactician outfit that I wanted to be clean. Tears dropped down my face as I stopped tumbling down the hill. I sat their, crossed legged, and crying like a little kid that tumbled down a hill... I mean what?

I heard a horse galloping towards me. I turned and saw a lanced caviller. I trembled and crawled back. I crashed into a tree. I whimpered. I closed my eyes as the caviller stabbed me but a certain hero saved me. "Chrom?" I whispered. "You'll die!!" Chrom hollered as he stabbed the mounted man once again. "You'll die, die DIE!" Chrom screamed as he cute the mounted unit into a lot of pieces. "Chrom... Calm down." I said as I placed a hand on his back. "Do not hurt my... Beloved... Ever again!" Chrom roared as he let his Falchion down. I blushed, right after he said beloved. "Beloved?" I asked as I tilted my head. Chrom stopped what he was doing and faced me. "Y-Yeah... B-Beloved... Hadn't you read what was inside the box?" Chrom asked
"No..." I squeaked. Maybe I should've opened the box when he gave it to me. Chrom's blush darkened. "W-Well... I... I need to go." Chrom mumbled and zoomed off. I tilted my head, my mind lost on what he just said to me. "(Y/n)? I heard what father said." Lucina said, breaking me out of my thought
"I think you're going to be my mother..." Lucina smiled
"How about Cordelia?! O-Or Robin?! I'm breaking everything you own!" I cried. Lucina, or my future daughter, embraced me into a hug. "It's okay, mother." Lucina whispered as she pat my back. "Thank you... Daughter... Is it even allowed to call you daughter?" I mumbled, wiping my tears with the back of my hand. Lucina smiled and nodded. "C'mon, let's get going. You can apologise to father after we get back to Askr." Lucina said as she pulled her with me. I smiled.

We arrived in Askr and Chrom was know where to be seen! Mercedes, who was also a cleric, and Lissa said that there was a wound near my stomach and that I had to be careful with the stitch they gave me. "Ohmagosh! You're gonna be ma sister in in law!!!" Lissa squealed. I blushed. "Yeah..." I smiled as I scratched my head
"I knew you were going to be with Chrom. I'm so happy" Mercedes said with the angelic smile she had. "Thank you, Mercedes." I smiled back. "I'm going to look for Chrom." I said as I left the infirmary for the search for Chrom. I searched EVERYWHERE! I searched the training grounds, castle grounds, and maybe even the boys hot tub room... Which I kind of made the boys kind of hate me... I searched even the forest which was out of bounds!!! I exit the forest to the other side and found Chrom at a lake, throwing rocks. "Hey, Chrom." I said. Chrom ignored. "Chrom?" I asked and in a quick moment, Chrom pinned me to the nearest tree. I squeaked. Chrom's eyes were red with fury but it quickly softened. He looked down and took out a small box that I quickly recognised in an instant. Tears started to spill from my eyes but luckily my hood covered."That's the..." I hesitated but Chrom understood what I meant. "Yup. The present I gave you." Chrom finished. His eyes turned sombre and into something else every ten seconds. Lust, regret, love, sadness, happiness. "Chrom, I... I can't..." I said
"Oh... I get it..." Chrom whispered, his voice cracking. The atmosphere became silent. "Can I just see you smile?" Chrom asked, a tear rolling down his cheek. He lifted my hood up to see me blushing and crying. "Don't cry..." Chrom croaked as he lifted my head by the chin. I grinned awkwardly and Chrom chuckled. "I should take my leave." Chrom sighed
"Wait!" I shouted as I grabbed Chrom's arm
"I-I..." I stammered 
"I accept your love!!!" I blurted out. I let go of Chrom's arm and hid behind the same tree Chrom pinned me against. "You do?!" Chrom asked as his face turned a bright red. He gently embraced me into a hug. I felt butterflies in my stomach. I spotted three people hiding behind a bush, and those people were, Lissa, Mercedes and Cordelia?! I thought Cordelia liked Chrom... Oh wait... She still does. She put a thumbs up sign as she shakily sighed. A tear rolled down her cheek. I mouthed a, 'I'm sorry', but Cordelia shook her head and left Mercedes and Lissa alone, who were currently fan girling and jumping up and down. Oh, how I love Lissa and Mercedes' childish acts.
