" Y-yes, it is. We've noticed. We have been paying attention, after all." Two figures fidgeted next to each other, glancing at one another nervously.
" Oh, really now? Because I don't think either you or her are at all ready for what is to come," the voice boomed, making the two flinch back. They composed themselves quickly before speaking.
" No! We are ready, we have been preparing for nearly a decade now. We are prepared. I can assure you that, your Majesty."
Suddenly, deep within the cave, a pair of bright, swirling grey eyes opened. They glowed in the misty, dark cave. The two bodies unconsciously straightened themselves and lifted their heads as if to prove themselves. The blazing eyes swept over them, analyzing them.
" Good. He is getting stronger as we speak. You must hurry before it is too late." Two heads bowed in respect.
" Yes, of course," they both whispered. The grey eyes stared at them a moment longer before disappearing, leaving the nervous duo worried for the future.
