Ch.2

Percy's POV

The rest of school was boring. At lunch I sat alone, and class was well... class.

But at English,at the end of the day, I sat in the back and I saw the girl Annabeth again. She saw me and sat down next to me.

"How has your first day been."she asked

"How do you know it's my first day?" I ask

"This isn't a big school and I have never seen you before."

She was right. I was about to say something when the teacher came in.

"Hi class I'm Mr. Blofis ( is that how you spell his name) and I'll be your English teacher, obviously."

Some people laughed at that.

I zoned out after that. Then I herd him say "So your work for today is to find someone you don't know ,and I'll know if you know the person, and right 3 paragraphs about them. I want it tomorrow. You have 5 minutes to chose a partner and get started on the paper

I didn't want to do this but it wouldn't be that bad. I saw Annabeth looking a t me and she said "do you want to be partners." "uh sure" I said.

"Do you have an extended name?" I asked

She looked at me funny then understanding what I was saying said "no.You?" "Perseus Jackson" I answered. "like the Greek hero?" "Exactly like the hero" she wrote that down then said "What do you like to do?" "Anything that has to do with water. You?" I replied quickly. "Reading, designing buildings , and watch geeky TV"
I laughed as I wrote that down.
"What" she asked "nothing" I said ''what kind of 'geekey' shows do you like'' i said putting air quotes around the word geekey. ''Once Upon A Time, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, The Tomorrow People ,and Beauty and the Beast.'' she said quickly. i laughed a little more but she didn't listen to me. "favorite color"i asked "grey and" "blue" I answered.

Then the bell rang and I she asked "do want to go to a park to finish this" "uh yeah I can drive" "ok"
