"Maaaan, father is in the zone! I was gettin' irritated till he said all that!" Monotaro exclaimed.

"Hell yeah! Let's toss back some honey to celebrate papa Kuma's return! Yo, Monodam! Go get some pure organic honey! Pour some honey on meeeeeee! In the name of killing...!" Monokid yelled.

Monodam remained silent "..."

"So long! Bear well!" The Monokubs yelled, then disappeared.

I looked at the students, the once happy students had been infected with utter fear and despair. "What are we going to do? Nighttime in 2 days... will be here in an instant." Tsumugi slurred.

"Th-there's gotta be somethin' we can do... I can't die... The world needs my genius!" Miu screamed.

"W-we all die together or... someone kills another... o-or... DAMNIT!" I shouted, while clenching my fists.

"B-b-ut... I-I don't wanna... I don't wanna die yet!" Kokichi cried.

"You don't need to worry. Atua will welcome you with open arms." Angie reassured us.

"... That's after we die, right?" Himiko gave her a shady look.

"W-we can't panic about something like this. I'll... do something about it." Said Kaito.

"What plan... do you have in mind?" I asked him.

"I'm... gonna start thinking of one right now!"

"... Figures. I didn't expect anything from you in the first place." Maki insulted Kaito.

 "W-we gotta fight back, then...!" Gonta exclaimed.

"Y-yeah! If we strike them with some sneak attacks, we might have a chance at winning!" Tenko agreed with him.

"What kind of Aikido moves even involve sneak attacks...?" Tsumugi questioned.

"Come, everyone! Gonta use body, keep everyone safe!" Gonta shouted.

"You're going to go against those machines barehanded? Isn't that too reckless?" Ryoma reasoned with him.

"B-but... we have to do it! If we don't, we'll die!" Tenko stuttered.

"Wait! We still have plenty of time to calculate all possible options-" Keebo was cut off.

"We've no time to be indecisive. We are being urged to make decision... to die fighting... or die from the time limit." Said Kiyo.

"Why do both choices involve us dying?!" Tsumugi shrieked.

"N-no way... are we really gonna die? I don't wanna die yet-" Kokichi cried.

"W-wait-Uh... s-s..." I paused 'There is another way, if we do this... only 1 student will die... but I don't think they're gonna let me do it.'

"Were you going to say something (Y/N)?" Kiyo asked me.

"Uh... it's nothing."

We turned back to Kokichi who was screaming "I'M GONNA SURVIVE! I'M GONNA MAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT!"

"N-no matter what...? Wait! You can't do that, though! Even if you make a mistake, you can't-" Kaede yelled.

"Then you'll accept the blame?"

"Huh?"

"Will you accept the blame if I die? I have people who'll be sad if I die, y'know."

Me and Maki looked at each other giving us a look saying '... Are you sure 'bout that?...'
