Chapter 3: Training

Mystogan's Pov:

So far it's been hours since I've talked to Erza. She was very angry and stomped away. Even at dinner time she didn't show up either. Is she trying to avoid me? Well, honestly she starts guarding over me tomorrow. So, if she wants time to herself that completely fine.

I laid in bed and stared at the ceiling. I just really hope that with her guarding me, I could finally confess my feelings to her.

I smiled as I turned to my side and closed my eyes and drifted away into my dreams where me and Erza are eating an apple pie together and we are very happy.

*The Next Morning*

I began to awaken from the slumber as I felt someone shaking my shoulder.

"Wha... what?!" I mumbled.

"Awake up, king!!" I voiced yelled.

I creaked my eyes opened and saw a blur of red, but I know who it was.

"Erza... What are you doing?" I mumbled as she let go of my shoulders and I fell back in bed.

"I'm here to train you, king." She answer.

"Train??" I questioned.

"Yeah, as your personal guard, I am also authorized to train you. You didn't know that?" She asked.

"No, I just thought you were suppose to watch over me." I said as my eyes were still shut.

"Well, the king's personal guard is also allowed to help you train, so you know, you could protect yourself even better. Now get your ass up and meet me in the courtyard." She yelled.

"Alright, alright, alright, just give me five more minutes." I begged as I wanted to drift off into sleep again.

Knightwalker's Pov:

I stared at all king as I actually listened to his request and let him sleep for another five minutes.

I stared at the clock and once fives minutes went by I immediately grabbed hold of the king's blanket and pulled as hard as I could and knocked him down to the floor.

"Wha.....!" He panicked as he stood up with his eyes slightly shut.

"I gave you fives extra minutes to sleep. Now get up!" I yelled.

"Alright, I'm up, I'm up!!" He leaned against his nightstand and tried to get off the floor. "Wait! It's 5:30 in the morning!!" He cried out.

"Yeah, so? I awake up 5 every since morning for training and then the soldiers come in at 6:00 for training, but now I just get to train you. So, more fun for us." I laughed to myself.

"Okay, I'm up." He said.

"Good, now get dressed and meet me in the courtyard in 10 minutes and don't be late, otherwise training will be much worse." I warned him before I left him alone to get dressed and headed down to the courtyard myself.

*10 Minutes later*

I waited around the courtyard for 10 minutes and he finally showed up just before I was about to go get him.

"Congratulations, you made it within seconds to spare." I praised him.

"Okay, I'm here. What are we starting with first?" He asked.

"Stretching." I answered.

Mystogan's Pov:

"Alright." I said.

"Touch your toes."

I was about to do what she said, till I saw Erza touch her toes and I blushed madly as when she bend down I saw her panties. She doesn't even wear pants or nothing underneath her short skirt.

"King!!" She yelled.

"What!!!??" I yelped.

"Touch your toes!!" She yelled.

"Oh right." I did as she said.

"Good now hold it there." She said.

"Alright no problem." I said back cheerfully, since she's bending down as well and I have a nice view to look at.

We continued doing other stretchers till she decided it was time to teach me about hand to hand combat.

"Alright king. Let's just say that you were under attack and I wasn't there to protect you, what would you do?" She asked.

"I have to fight them myself." I answered.

"Good, let's start out easy with no weapons or knifes. However, in different scenarios there will most likely be more then one person trying to harm you. Now, let's just say I'm an assassin, and I'm trying to harm you. Your gonna fight me as one of them, now charge at me." She ordered.

At first I was about to do it, but then I realized that Erza's a girl. Where do I grabbed her?

Before I could even think where to grab her. Erza charged at me and brought me to the ground as I hit my head against it.

"What the hell king!? I told you to charge at me cause I'm an assassin who will harm you first if you don't do anything." She said.

"Your a girl, where do I grab you?" I asked as I rubbed the back of my head.

"It doesn't matter if your opponent is a male or female. You fight no matter what. It's life or death." She held out her hand and I accepted it as she helped me up.

"Alright, I understand."

"Great, now this time. I'm not gonna attack you. You attack me and bring me to the ground." She said.

"Okay." I stared at Erza as I quickly charge at her. I grabbed her by under her breasts and slammed her body against the ground. "Yes, how was that?" I asked.

I looked up at her face and saw her eyes closed.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry." I cried out, as I placed my hand against her cheek.

I immediately got up and went to go get help. However, I was brought to the ground as I felt a foot jap into my stomach.

"Remember never to let your guard down, even if it appears your assassin is unconscious. Always make sure your guard is up." She said as she got off the floor.

"Thanks for the tip." I whined as I held my stomach.

"Your welcome." She smiled. "Now let's continue with more exercises."

*2 Hours Later*

I lost track on how many times I've collapse on the floor as I was panting heavily and sweat was rolling down my face.

"Ah, that was a great work out, don't you agree king." Erza said.

I couldn't even answer her back, but I gave her a thumbs up.

"Great, now you can head back to your chambers while I go clean myself off and I'll see you there. Alright?" She said cheerfully as she left me alone in the courtyard on the floor.

I struggled to get up but I immediately went back to my chambers and collapsed in bed as my whole entire body was killing me.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" I cried out.

'Oh god! I'm hurting so much and I have to do this again tomorrow?' I told myself. 'I didn't even get a chance to talk to her about my feelings towards her, but if I want to tell her, I have to wait till the right moment, when everything is calm.'

'Oh well, after that training. I'm smelly. I should jump into the tub and wash myself down.' I said to myself as I headed towards the bathroom to get the water running.
