As you may have noticed with each tutorial and cover I make I also filter it. This is something people don't do a lot.
Now I'm not saying filters are absolute, they are optional, but they are an option that will make your covers and edits look so much better. It can make it look more cohesive and just finished... I guess is the word I'm looking for.

When adding a filter you need to make sure it fits your cover or edit. You need to decide if you want it to be dark or light. You need to decide if you want a certain color to pop while turn the saturation of other colors down.
While making filters might seem like a complicated thing to do, it's really not. But if you think you can't do it then there are many books on Wattpad and some Instagram pages that you can always check out that have tons of Polarr and/or VSCO filters you can use.

There are of course other apps you can use to filter. Pics Art has a few good free filters. VSCO is a good option. Lightroom. 1967. Fliterloop.
There are some apps you have to pay for or pay a subscription for. But this is why I like Polarr so much. While you can get a subscription, most of the app is free to use, which I really appreciate and it's why it's my favorite.
