mollies POV

me and Hermione got off the train with Harry and Ron.

i should probably introduce myself, i'm Mollie Granger, yes, Granger. some how me and Hermione are very distantly related but we're nothing alike, i have platinum blonde hair that's pin straight and goes all the way to my lower back, light brown eyes and unlike Hermione i'm a pure blood.

"welcome back" Hagrid smiled at us as we walked past him.

"you know, i didnt miss this place" i laughed to myself.

"you can't lie you definitely missed us" Rom nudged me.

"oh yeah definitely" i teased him with a smile.

we all sat in our houses in the great hall. the hall was filled with noise of people catching up and laughing.

"welcome to a new year at hogwarts" Dumbledore's voice boomed through the hall getting everyone's attention but mine. while he gave his speech i observed everyone's faces, it seems as everyone has grown up through the time of this year and last year, the boys have lost their 'baby faces' and the girls look a lot more mature. when we were walking into this place i noticed that the girls in my year have made their skirts shorter.

"may the feast begin" Dumbledore said which snapped me out of it and just like that the noise and laughter began again.

"i have a good feeling about this year" Ron smiled while stuffing his face.

"yeah i bet you do" Harry shook his head.

"oi, i could actually really do good for myself, you know?" Ron kept talking.

"stop talking with your mouth full honestly" Hermione pulled an unpleasant face at him.

i watched everyone fill up their plates but i just sort of looked at the food and occasionally poked it with my fork.

"are you not going to eat?" Hermione tapped my arm.

i shook my head at her "not hungry"

"you've been complaining the whole journey here"

"yeah i know, i just don't feel well" i rested my elbow on the table.

"Ginny has been going on non stop about coming back" Ron changed the subject.

"why?" i asked.

"don't know, didn't really pay attention something about Dean i don't know?"

"boys" i shook my head and smiled.

"well she's obviously in love" Harry suggested.

"don't see why, relationships are a waste of time" i shook my head to the idea of being in a serious relationship, i guess while everyone is 'ready' for it or what ever that means i guess i just havnt found the right person yet to prove to me that relationships are worth it.

the others carried on with their conversations, obviously it was about something stupid that i didn't really pay attention to, i looked past Harry's shoulder and saw Malfoy, every since he stopped slicking his hair back he looks a lot better.

i didn't realize at first but we have been locking eyes this whole time, i quickly looked down at my plate resisting the urge to look back up to see if he was still looking, i turned my head to the right and looked at the professors, Snape was looking at me and then looked in the direction of Malfoy which i refused to look in.

we were all chilling in the Gryffindor common room and i couldn't help thinking why Malfoy was staring at me, how long was he staring at me for, honestly he really knows how to get into someone's head.

"mollie are you okay, you havnt said anything in a while" Ginny asked.

i nodded "yeah i'm fine i'm just a bit bored, i think i'm gonna go for a walk" i got up and walked out of the room before anyone could say anything.

i walked around for a little bit just clearing my head off, but i don't know why i can't get Malfoy out my head, it must be the hair.

i heard laughing around the corner but i couldn't make out who it was, i kept walking and of course, turning the corner is Malfoy and Blaise.

Blaise didn't pay any attention to me, i don't think he even realized i was there but Malfoy... Malfoy looked me up and down and did his little smile. i rolled my eyes and tucked my hair behind my ears and kept walking.

right i knowwww the first chapter sucks but it always does right? anyway, i promise i have a lot of twists and turns so stay tuned. 💕
