Part 3 • Explanation

"You are beautiful."

"Give me a reason to why you called me beautiful.", I said looking into his eyes.

"Because you really are? Why, Camellia? Do you think you're not beautiful?", He asked, making a confused face.

"Yes.", I let out a simple answer.

"Well, that's not true then because you are beautiful and you really are, okay and that's it. You are beautiful, I can't deny it so do you beautiful young lady and full stop.", He said as he placing his index finger to his lips, to stop our argument about me being beautiful or not.

I chuckled as I took a sip of my latte.

He chuckled too as he looked at my book for one last time.

"Thanks for letting me see it. Such a wonderful story isn't it?"

"Yes it is, I've only read it until chapter 4, still more chapters to go. I suppose you've read it?", I asked.

He nodded and smile. "Read it until the last page, I guarantee you will cry reading the last three sentences."

"But you acted like you haven't. Just by looking at the way you looked at my book."

"I did it on purpose. Just to tease you.", He winked, making my eyes widen big looking at him as I giggled.

"Awh...", I heard some voices saying that and I turned my head just to see Ann and other three tall, good-looking guys standing behind me.

"Hey, Camellia! How's your short date?", Ann said as she walked towards me.

"Yo bro, don't wanna meet us ya?", one of the guys asked Namjoon.

"See you again, beautiful.", he whispered to me, smiling as he walked to his buddies. I returned back a smile to him.

"I think someone has found her groom? Ann said as she sits in front of me.

"No, I'm not! Stop joking please, he will hear you!", I whispered and she laughed.

"Okay beautiful, I'm just kidding, let's not be too serious okay?", she still laughing and I just nodded.

Namjoon's POV

I sit with my brothers only a few tables away from Camellia's table. I saw her talking to her friend very happily like they haven't met for a long time.

"Ring! Ring! Ring!", Jungkook did it on purpose, trying to get attention.

"Jungkook what are you doing, slow down your voice or she will notice!", I said making my worried face.

He smirked. "Well, that's what you want right? You want her attention, you want HER.", suddenly, I blushed.

"Woa someone is turning red.", Jin joined.

I tried to shush them and J-Hope interfere, "You have something to share with us so let us know now, we're more than excited, Jungkook been curious and kept asking me about you since I texted him last night."

"Okay, I will explain everything, please calm down and keep your mouth shut!", I said as everyone nodded.

"Actually, I was walking home last morning, I was scrolling through my phone until I accidentally bumped into her. She apologised to me, telling me she didn't mean to hurt me and I said sorry too and before she makes her move, I asked for her phone number, I told her that I want to see her again and I want to know her more. Lucky that she's fine with that. Since that we become friends. Guys, I- I feel some attraction between us, she's like a magnet to me and I don't know how it happened, I think I've fallen in love but I think it's still too early to confess so I want to be her friend first, I want to get to know her first and I will arrange another step later.", I explained clearly as they all gave a surprised reaction. Jungkook only opened his mouth, not being able to give any reply.

"Interesting.", said the first person to react, Jin.

"So what do you think about this? Don't make my heart flutter.", I said, wanting to know their opinion.

"Jungkook and I are speechless. Okay let Jin gives his comment first.", Hobi answered.

"Have you tried to message her? Maybe just to say hi as her new friend?", Jin asked.

"I greeted her last night and we are still. You know.. Awkward. Shy. Things like that.", I responded.

"So how was her reaction?", Jungkook suddenly joined.

"Yea so how?", Jinnie asked again.

" I don't want to say anything but I will show you our conversation and I will wait for your reaction.", I said as I pass them my phone, showing them my conversation with Camellia.

They all take a look at it and they looked like a fool since they laughed like a crazy person.

"It's not funny buddies.", I said as they turned their head to me.

"It is, Joon!", J-Hope replied, still laughing.

"Okay, what's funny?"

"You seemed desperate. But not really desperate but still a little. And since when did you become so soft to a girl? I mean, the way you send her that messages just like a real gentleman.", Jin said, he no longer laughing.

"I've tried not to seem desperate but I think I failed and didn't I have been soft to any girls?", I asked.

"Yes you have been soft to other girls but this time you are softer. You even called her beautiful. I think this is the first time you ever called a girl beautiful. You are hard to compliment any other girls too. So, she's lucky and she also the first to receive your praise.", J-Hope reacted.

"That's right big bro.", Jungkook said.

"Hm. She's unique, guys. Do you think I'm doing the right thing now?", I asked.

"Yes!", The three of them answered at the same time.

"Okay then, I guess I can continue my friendship with her.", I said, smiling.

We enjoyed our drinks, mine is always the best cappuccino from this cafe.
