The glacial hands of winter hold me under again

I try to resurface but my efforts are in vain

I drown in nostalgic memories of the summer sun

Knowing full well that my torture's just begun

The numbness washes over me like the freezing sea

The waves pushing me under and restricting me

I'm longing to emerge and again embrace the heat

Each year it comes and passes, then again it will repeat
