Fred looks at the sky and notices the green grid pattern
"Looks like we're leaving, everyone." Fred states
"Like, you sure you wanna split? There's a lot of Cyber Buffets to try here." Cyber Shaggy asks
"I''m sorry but we have to go" Velma says
Now, a green grid vortex forms in the sky
"I guess this is....goodbye." Velma said as her, the rest of the real Mystery Inc., and the real Team RWBY backed up and their cyber doubles backed up as well
"Bye!!" The Cyber doubles all say in unison
"Thanks for all the help!" Daphne mentions as the cyber doubles start waving.
A green swirl surrounds Mystery Inc. and Team RWBY and they are pulled up into the vortex as nothing more than 3D green grid shapes of themselves and the vortex vanishes
"Rbye, Scooby." Cyber Scooby said as all the cyber doubles waved goodbye at the sky.
IN THE REAL WORLD
The laser opens up, aims back at where it shot Mystery Inc. and Team RWBY, and starts firing and eventually releases fire and the groups are back in the real world
"You're back! I thought you'd be stuck in the game forever!" Eric said
"Man, there's no place like home." Shaggy said looking around
"So, did you find out who created the virus?" Qrow asked
"We've got a pretty good idea, Mr. Branwen." Fred answers glaring a little at Bill
"Good. Cause whoever created the virus must be punished." Prof. Kaufman says
"Glad you agree, Professor. Cause you're as much a suspect as anyone here." Velma states
"What? Me? But i'm s scientist! I've dedicated my life to my students and this university!" Prof. Kaufman states
"But you also stood to make a quarter million dollars at the science fair." Fred states
"If you stole the invention." Daphne adds.
Meanwhile, Winter was keeping a close eye on Bill
"But, once inside the game, we found some important clues." Velma states
"Our first clue came when we were on the moon level. The Phantom Virus shouted "Play ball!'." Daphne added
"Our second clue came on the Colosseum level. We found some chalk lines like a large diamond." Fred further explained
"But, if I payed attention correctly, like, our biggest clue was on the final level." Shaggy started
"When the virus appeared in a batting cage." Fred added
"All i'm getting is that the virus had a thing for..." Eric started. "Baseball!! It was Bill!" Eric continued as they heard the door slam shut and looked over
"Don't let him get away!" Winter shouted.
Mystery Inc. went out to chase him
Meanwhile, Team RWBY stayed in the computer lab with Eric, Qrow, Winter. Prof. Kaufman, and Officer Wembely
"Should we...go after him and help them? I mean, Bill is gonna get arrested for attemptive murder and attempted thievery" Winter asked
"No. Leave Mystery Inc. to the catching part of this. If anyone deserves to catch him before he gets taken away to jail, it's them." Weiss answered
"Yang, you stay and keep everyone in check." Ruby said as she ran for the door.
Before anyone could try to stop her though, she was already out the door
LATER
Bill comes storming through the door in a rush. Before he can do anything though, he trips over someone's leg, or more accurately, a tail, and crashes into his station in the computer lab.
"Okay, son. It's all over." Officer Wembely said as he handcuffed Bill
"Bill, you were my best friend." Eric said
"And my best student." Kaufman added
"But you didn't pick my project!" Bill snapped
"What's that supposed to mean?!?!?" Eric scoffed
"Professor Kaufman chose your video design over mine. Even though i've been here two years longer!" Bill replied
"So you invented The Phantom Virus hoping it would scare Eric away." Velma explained
"That's right, and it worked. Until you guys showed up." Bill stated
"You were afraid we would find out you created the virus." Yang started
"So you beamed us into Cyberspace!!" Shaggy added
Out of nowhere, Qrow punches Bill in the side of the face
"That's for trying to trap my family and their friends in a damn video game." Qrow stated
"The prize money would have been all mine if it wasn't for..." Bill started
"Us meddling kids and huntresses." Mystery Inc. and Team RWBY finished as Bill was walked out of the room
