Kakyoin sat up in his hotel bed. "Y'know, the Red String of Fate? The belief that everything happens for a reason, and that reason is the path towards the end?"
"Dammit, Kakyoin...How long are you gonna keep talking about this bullshit?" Jotaro sighed. Another one of these conversations. They would just go on and on, until Jotaro was fed up and would tell him to shut up.
"My apologies, I just find a lot of things like it really interesting!" the red head bowed his head apologetically, though it didn't seem very serious. "They're really cool, besides...they can explain things I don't understand."
"They just make everything even more damn confusing," the other retorted. He honestly did get extremely confused by certain legends.
"C'mon, you gotta have something that you believe.. like, uhhh...what about Mythology? Greek gods?"
"Hell no."
"Um...Reincarnation?"
"When you die, you die."
"Jooootaroo! Are you seriously that nihilistic?" Kakyoin frowned. He genuinely seemed bummed Jotaro had nothing he liked.
"I just like what's plausible." Jotaro replied, flicking his hat up a bit. "Then there's legimate proof and explanations to whatever."
"Nihilist..."
"I'm not a nihilist, it's called being level-headed," the taller defended himself. Kakyoin frowned more before laying back down. He genuinely felt a bit guilty after from seeing him so forlorn. Jotaro tried to find the words to make him happy, but he could only think of one thing; "...But, I...I guess I could start finding something to look to.."
The red head immediately perked up. "Really?"
"...Only for you to shut up." Jojo huffed and pulled his hat over his eyes. He wasn't going to admit he wanted to see him feel better.
"Maybe you're not so hopeless after all!"
"...Whatever...Tell anyone and I'll beat you."
"Like you would."
