Not any better than you

~chapter three~

I sat down at a table in the cafeteria, when all a sudden someone sat down next to me. I looked up to see Brandon and Jason sitting down.

How does Jason and Brandon even know each other, Jason is a senior while Brandon is a sophomore like me. Maybe they met online to, wouldn't be surprised. Most of Jason's friends are either fake or from online.

"Umm, hi."the confusion in my tone was real, like PERIOD.

Never saying that again.

"Hey you looked lonely so we decided to sit with you." Jason chirped, he probably thinks I'm a loner even though he's met my friends.

"I'm not lonely so you guys can go now."I answered back, hoping that they would listen and leave me alone.

"Well to me it looks like you've been replaced." I looked at Brandon then to the people he was pointing to. Emily, Lucy and james were all having fun without me. But like I aid it's just a prank, James and Lucy would never leave me like that.

Specially Lucy.

"I- don't know what your talking about." I wasn't replaced, they were just hanging out without me...

Jason just chuckled and got up. "Right see ya later Brandon." Brandon waves bye to Jason.

Brandon lent closed to me,"you know Emily?"

"Yeah.." where was he going with this.

"The reason she has no friends is because she made a girl kill herself once," I looked completely shocked at this, obviously it was a lie over wise why would she not be in jail.

Like he read my mind he continued to say,"she never got caught as there was no prof leading to her suicide, Emily is a good liar." I started to believe more and more as he continued, I tried not but I just couldn't help it... it all sounded so real.

" why... did she do it?" He turned he's body so he was facing me completely, I did the same so I could hear him better.

"Because one day Gina, started hanging out with Emily's best friend destiny, Emily got super jellies and well one thing led to another." I just nodded thinking about everything he said.

"What happed to destiny?" He turned back round looking around the room until he paused a slight second.

He pointed into the distance. " that girl right there, well that's destiny also known as my twin sister." As I looked towards who he was pointing at I went wide eyed.

It was that girl who argued with Lucy the other day. Was that why she was so rude to Emily, I mean I can't blame her know to think of it. She did lose one of her friends because of Emily.

"Hey, clover to earth!" He waved his hand in front of my face bringing me back to earth. I blinked a couple of time before turning back round towards Brandon.

"Hmm, oh sorry what were you saying?" I asked not really bothered what he was talking about. He just chuckled lightly and got up.

"I have to go now have some business to do." He sung, I really wished he didn't, my ears were ringing from his Awful singing.

"Yeah yeah bye." I waved him off as I stared at destiny not knowing weather to go up to her and talk. She wasn't alone she was sat at table with a bunch on strangers.

I decided to grow a pair ( even though I'm not a boy) and go up to talk to her. As I was walking, I walked past the table Lucy and Emily we're starting at. The three of them just stared at me in complete silents making me feel awkward.

I finally reached at destiny's table, most of them were talking and laughing while destiny was just sitting there is silence. I tapped her on the shoulder, she turned round and the others went completely silent. "Hey can we talk for a second." To my surprise she nodded, although she didn't look to happy about it.

"I wanted to talk about.. Emily" at first I hesitated not knowing If this was a good idea.

She stopped walking and lent at the cafeteria doors and looked over to the table where Emily was sitting at.

"What about her." She sounded like nothing wrong happened between the two but I could tell in her eyes she was hurt bye her.
