The girl in question grabbed her shoulder bag and slung it over her shoulder before looking around the shop's decoration for a specific type of item while saying, "The Port Mafia may be in the area, and don't call the police because it doesn't bode well that the Armed Detective Agency is already here. It spells trouble, now get into the back-- Aha! Found you!"
She ran over to one of the exits which had a simple traditional fox-mask hanging above the door as decoration. She jumped and tapped the mask before simultaneously saying, "Code: Copy."
She rarely used Copy & Paste, but it may pay off to hide her face from the agency interns and the mafia... After all, she didn't like the idea of the mafia knowing THAT ability user was alive, and she preferred to remain associated with the Agency through her tips and reports.
With the ability might have to use if the situation got out of hand, she didn't want anyone to know who she was... she was reverting to the ghost that was her past.
She exited the shop and jogged to the edge of the sidewalk before waiting for the traffic to allow her to cross. She impatiently bounced from leg to leg while waiting for her opening, but a series of shots broke through the normal sounds of the streets.
Her eyes widened before hearing yells of pedestrians as they fled from the source of the sound, the alley those kids just walked into with a Port Mafia gunslinger.
"Atsushi!"
Her legs worked on their own as she recklessly ran towards the alley that was just down the street from her. She dodged cars as they sped to flee from the shots that she was heading straight for. As she ran towards the alleyway she brought her hand to her face and said, "Code: Paste."
The fox mask that she had used copy on in the shop materialized onto her face before she ran into someone fleeing.
"H-Hey watch it!"
The man yelled out to her before he ran away in fear once more and she picked herself up from the ground and began her track towards the alleyway as a red flash emitted from the secluded area.
Having seen that the mafia member was an underling of THE Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, she didn't like the looks of those red flashes and those kids being in the same area.
She feared that the innocent boy Atsushi who was so pure and kind would be in an irreversible state, but she should have stalled a little longer.
When she turned the corner, the boy was thrown to the side by the Silent Rabid Dog's ability, and his leg was ripped from his body.
"ATSUSHI!"
She screamed out the boy's name before the two mafia members turned to greet the late arrival.
The man was none other than who she'd thought, Akutagawa, and [Y/n] would be lying if she didn't think his presence scared the living hell out of her. He was ruthless. He was also one of the few reoccurring names yelled over the audio bugs she planted over the city before someone was killed.
Her eyes widened as she saw the state Atsushi was in. He was screaming out and grasping at the leg that was no longer there... One of his legs was completely gone...
How could someone just rip another's limb form their body without batting an eye... How could someone just shoot a young high schooler and then stab her brother...
The thought of such a monster existing caused her to clench her fists before running to the boy in pain and setting a hand on his side as if so soothe him. "A-Atsushi... You're going to be okay, I swear I will help you and your friends out of here! One friend to another got it!"
