A week have passed since Kyojuro made that announcement. Right now, Kiyomaru is in the Rengoku houseld's training ground, having a light spar with Senjuro, the kid obviously losing.
"Calm down Sen-kun. You're too tense right now!"
Senjuro wipe his sweat away as he takes a stance.
"R-Right... Sorry Kiyo-nii..."
Kiyomaru sigh and smiled as he pats Senjuro. The said boy slowly calms down at his touch, smiling a little bit.
"I think that's for your training for now... I need to train on my own."
Kiyomaru said as he pulled back, looking at Senjuro with a toothy grin. Senjuro then nods at him.
"Thank you Kiyo-nii."
He then runs inside the house to do whatever chores his dad left him to do. Kiyomaru is left alone as he sigh, falling in deep thoughts.
'He's already ahead of me... Way ahead of me...I know that long ago but still...'
Kyojuro becoming a pillar have been bugging his mind lately. Don't get him wrong. It's not like he's not happy for his friend. He's just... He envy him.
Kiyomaru sigh as he lay down on the ground under a tree, staring at the blue sky above him. Kyojuro is currently out on a mission and Shinjuro is drowning himself in alcohol as usual so only Senjuro and Kiyomaru are left in the house.
"I wonder how Yuyu and Sabi-kun are..."
He watches the cloud pass by, identifying some shapes he can recognize. Suddenly, there's a knock on their door as Kiyomaru yelps and jumps up.
"Eh...? Oh..."
He realized that it's not a threat and calmed down. He then walked in the door to see who it is.
"Moshi mosh..."
A beautiful girl with twin ornament butterflies on her head and a butterfly patterned haori greeted. Kiyomaru blinks and blushed.
