*Katie's POV*

Melissa and I sat patiently waiting for Calista to talk.

"So yesterday, I watched the live video" Calista started and I nodded. We already expected it. Mel and I did a live video to tell everyone about us

"You guys need to take a break. I mean, you need a quality time together. I'm not firing anyone, nor suspending. Just take a vacation and be together" Calista said giving me and Melissa a smile. This is the first time I saw her smiling

"R-Really Ms. Flockhart?" Mel asked surprised. I look over to her and I smile when I saw her smiling. The genuine happiness on her face

"You know, I witnessed you're sadness, your loneliness. I know how you acted like you're the happiness person on earth when you are around with people and when you're finally alone, you started breaking. I saw you. I witnessed everything. And I knew everything" Calista told Melissa. So she knew? All this time?

Melissa looked down and I saw how her tears dropped into her clothes. I moved closer to her and reached her hand with my left hand. I wrapped my right arms on her back into her shoulder and slightly rubbing it.

"And you Katie, I saw how you look at Melissa right from the start. Your eyes became bright, your face bloomed like a flower" Calista added

I smiled at Calista who's looking at me and Melissa. Calista nodded and gave me her sweetest smile. Melissa leaned her head on my shoulder and held my hands

"My plan worked" Calista said while smiling

"So you knew right before you ask me to be here? How?" I asked her curiousedly. I mean, I did not told her and I think Melissa did not as well

"The real reason why I called you to watch over my company is because of this. Melissa is my assistant, and I'm pretty sure that you know how clumsy Melissa is. I demanded her to brought me some coffee at the coffee shop and she did. She left her phone on my desk and I took it. I opened it and it turns out that it is Melissa's. The thing that caught my attention is her lockscreen. It is you kissing her on her cheek" She said. Melissa looked surprise after hearing Calista and I giggled on her

"And Katie, do you remember when I came into your office? I saw a picture of Melissa on your desk with a text that says "I shouldn't broke up with you" and a sad face. I guess I'm just pretty smart to connect things right" she added

"You are really smart Ms. Flockhart" Melissa chuckled

"Thank you. She means everything to me" I told Calista and she nodded

"And now go home. Get packed and enjoy 1 week of vacation" Calista said smiling at us

Melissa and I got up from our seats. I saw the happiness on her eyes and her smile looks so genuine. That is my comfort, seeing her genuinely happy. We got off from the building and headed to Melissa's place before going to mine.

We stayed at het place trying to decide where to go. We sat on her couch searching a good place to go for a romantic vacation

"They said woodbine beach is a good place" Melissa suggested while looking through her phone

"Wanna swim?" She added looking at me with a smirk face

"Hell yeah" I giggled and I leaned towards her closing the space between her. I kissee her gently and she smiled on the kiss

"I guess we just found somewhere to go" She said excitedly.

She stood up and went to her bedroom. I waited for her, sitting on the couch when I found something. There is a picture of an engagement ring on the wall. I made sure that Melissa is busy on her bedroom before I walked closer to the wall

When I reached it, I saw a text on the picture and it says, "All I want is to be Katie's wife" I smiled at it and and idea came into my mind

"I'm ready" I heard her walking out from her bedroom so I immediately walked towards her

"Uhm Melissa, is it alright for you to just wait me here while I'm packing my things?" I asked her and she sighed in a relief

"Actually that would be fine. I need to clean up my appartment" she said

"Okay. I'm gonns pick you up in here alright? I'll be here after minutes" I kissed her

"alright" she smiled.

I made my way out of her appartment. I excitedly headed to the place where I'm staying. But the only thing that makes me so excited is the engagement ring I bought before we broke up. I was planning to propose to her before but the next day, we broke up so I decided to just keep the ring instead of throwing it away. No matter where I go, I always have it with me. And I'm glad for it. I'm gonna be proposing to her. Not this night but probably the next day.

"I have waited for this moment" I said to myself when I finally got the ring from my baggage

*Melissa's POV*

I finally had a chance to do it. I have planned this for the whole week and Ms. Flockhart gave me a really great chance to do it. When Katie left earlier, I cleaned up my apartment but the advantage I had when she left, is to plan how will I propose to her.

I looked at the ring that I bought a week ago. It has a little diamond on top. Finally...
This is my dream, this is what I want. I can only see myself holding her hand and if it is not her, I would rather choose to be alone than to marry other person

"Mel are you ready?" I heard Katie. Good thing is that I closed the door so she couldn't caught me holding the ear that is soon to be in her finger

I immediately put the ring on it's box and put it on the baggage I have
"I'm always ready" I told Katie when I opened the door

"I know you are" I giggled and kissed me

I got outside the apartment and made sure that everything is fine before I closed and locked the door. I'm pretty sure that we will arrive in Ontario at night. I sighed, it will be a long ride....
