*Melissa's POV*
<On her way to Katie's office for lunch>
Everything seems so fine today. Katie and I became stronger. And now that I gave Katie a hundred percent of my trust, I can just relax and nit worry about Mehcad who's trying to steal my girlfriend
As soon as I reached Katie's office, Eve wasn't on her desk so I continued walking in to my girlfriend's office.
I was shocked to see Mehcad inside Katie's office but what shocks me more was, Katie is in there. Infront of Mehcad.
Mehcad's hands is on Katie's face, I felt like my whole world break down when I saw them kissing.
"But she promised" I whispered to myself.
A lot of things came into my mind. My heart is pounding and my emotion is mixed. I'am angry, confused, broken and feel betrayed at the same time.
When I was about to walk away, Eve is now in there standing infront of me
"Ms. Benoist" Eve greeted with a smile. She have a two cup of coffee in her hand. So Katie even told Eve to buy a coffee for them. Tch.
"Don't tell Katie that I went here okay?" I told Eve before going away. I tried to control myself not to cry until I got home
At home:
It's already 12:30 pm. Katie and I supposed to have a lunch together at her office but what I saw earlier breaks me down.
I was laying on the couch eating some snacks and drinking alchohol when my phone rung. I looked at my phone to see Katie's name on th screen
I tried to just ignore the call but she keeps calling me so I decided to answer
*call*
M: Hey
K: Hey Mel, where are you? Are you on your way? What do you want me to order? Do you want-
M: I'm not gonna drop by. I'm not feeling well
K: Oh, if you want I can just come home. Let me-
M: No I'm fine. I just need some rest
K: You sure?
M: Yeah
I end up the call and continued eating a snack.
*3rd Person POV*
Earlier that day....
Katie was sitting on her seat minding all of the paperworks. She wants them to be done before her reporter/actress girlfriend came. She has a lot of energy today because of what happened yesterday.
"No Mr. Brooks. Ms. Katie told me not to---" I heard Eve said so I faced her and I rolled my eyes to see that Mehcad is here again
I stood up and said "Eve, can you please grab a coffee for me and Melissa? I'll take care of this one"
Eve nodded and gave Mehcad a glare before she be gone
"Didn't I told you not to comeback?" I said raising my eyebrows
"Katie look, I'm gonna do everything just to win your heart" Mehcad said
"Mehcad, sorry but you can't. I'm inlove with someone else" I told her
"Who is this person? Is he better than me? Can he do what I can do for you? Do I..... Do I know him?"
"Well, first of all, it's a SHE. Second, yeah she is better than you, Third, She can do everything just for me. Fourth, I love her. And last, yes you do know HER" She proudly said while walking towards Mehcad
"She? Y-you're.....gay?" Mehcad confusedly said. It is obvious that he is shocked on what Katie said
"Yeah. Now, you can leave" She said pointing out her door that is open
Mehcad surprised Katie by kissing her. Katie ofcourse did not kissed back. (This is the moment when Melissa came in but they did not noticed her)
He kissed Katie a little longer. Katie was shocked by his moves so that she can move. Melissa was right there infront of the door watching them. But when Katie finally had a chance to move, Melissa is already gone
Katie pushed Mehcad then she slapped him on his face.
"Are you crazy?!" she said angrily
"I'm a good kisser than her right?" Mehcad said with a smirk in his face
"No!! You have no match to Melissa! You idiot! Now go away! I don't wanna see you again!"
"Melissa?" Mehcad was shocked
Katie did not meant to mention her. She can't control her emotions.
"Yeah, Mel. She's my girlfriend and I love her. Now get lost!" She yelled.
Mehcad looked away and after a second, she finally left.
"Ms. McGrath?" Eve entered the office with a worried face
"Hey, Eve" She used a low voice
"Uhm... Here's the coffee for you and Ms. Benoist" She picked the coffee and put it into a table
"Thanks.... Uhm Eve?" Katie called Eve who's about to go outside
"Yes Ms. McGrath?" Eve turned around to see Katie
"You heard that?" She asked
"Ms. McGrath, you two can't play the game right. The word 'bestfriends' didn't work. I knew it a long time ago and.... I support you" Eve told Katie with a smile
Katie smiled "Thanks Eve" she said...
She did not tell Katie that Melissa was there earlier because Melissa said so...
