*Katie's POV*
Melissa and I were chatting and laughing together as we eat our lunch here at Paradise Restaurant. We can see that Adam is a big fan of us both by the look on his restaurant. A lot of picture of Melissa and I around and a poster as well
"So, did Mrs. and Mr. McGrath knows that we broke up 3 years ago?" She suddenly asked. My parents were so closed to her and so I am to hers
"Yeah. I wasn't really planning on telling them but, you know, I need their comfort that time" I told her
"I shouldn't left that day" she sighed. She looked down and suddenly, a sad face developed in her
"Hey, don't be sad. That's alright. Yeah you left that day but hey, you're here now" I said lifting her face placing ny fingers on her chin
"I'm not gonna leave you again. I promise" She said as she hugged me.
"Well, I won't let you dummy" I jokingly said when we pulled apart
"Correction, I'm not just that dummy! I'm YOUR dummy" She said pointing at the word "your"
"You're such a dork" I joked.
We look at each other's eyes, she moved closer to me wrapping her arms around my waist and I placed my hands on her cheeks
"I love you" She said. She kissed my gently and I kissed back. The kiss was about to turn so deep when someone interrupted us
"Oh my God I'm sorry" we heard him on the door so we stopped and looked at him surprisedly
"You saw it?" Melissa panickedly asked
"I think.... I should get outside" Adam was about to go out but I stopped him
"Wait. Stay in here for a second" I told him and so he did. He sat next to Melissa. Melissa seems to be shocked and worried about us being open in public. I reached her hand and rubbed it by my thumb
"It's alright. I'm gonna tell him" I said giving her a smile so that she will feel the relief
"Are you sure?" She asked worriedly and I nodded
"Okay so first of all, we would like to thank you for this amazing restaurant that you built. And, remember earlier when you asked us if we are dating?" I told Adam and he nodded with a hope in his eyes "Yes. We are. Since 3 years ago" I continued
"Wait... Is this real? Am I dreaming?" Adam said and he seems to be frozed. Is this what every shippers looks like when they finally confirmed that the boat is really sailing?
Melissa laughed to his reaction and I pushed her a little to make her stop from laughing
"I'm sorry. He's just cute" Melissa giggled
Melissa and I stared at him waiting for his response but Elsa (From Frozen) seems to froze him
"Oh my God the boat is sailing" He said excitedly.
We laughed at his reaction "Yes it is" I giggled
"Are you coming out to public?" He asked
"Are we?" Melissa asked as well with a hope in her eyes. I know that Melissa wants us to come out to public since then but I'am the one who's stopping her from doing it.
"Mel, look. I know you always wanted us to come out in public. And I always refused to do that" I said. Melissa looked down losing the hope in her eyes "But now, I finally had a decision to that. I mean, I love you and I want the world to know that" I continued
Melissa looked up with the biggest smile on her face "You mean... W-we will come out?" she asked and I nodded
Adam jumped continuesly cheering for the both of us. Melissa placed her hand on my cheeks and looked into my eyes. I can see the tears that is slowly building up in her eyes
