No one will believe you (Stalker Todoroki)

Chapter 12

I woke up to the fire alarms going off. Thinking quickly I used my quirk and stopped time. I moved my dresser out the way and opened my door. The fire was right in our living area. A bit panicked I went back into my room and grabbed my favorite blanket and wrapped it around myself. Then I went through the small door to see Bakugou was unconscious on the ground.

"Shit!" I spoke outloud. I unfroze time and grabbed him then froze time again. He was breathing so that was a plus.

I slapped him awake he he seemed pissed. "The hell!" He shouted at me but then looked around to see everything frozen. "We have to go! Now!" I said and grabbed his hand and ran out the door.

We went and checked all the rooms to make sure everyone was out. When we were sure everyone was safe we made our way out the building.

I was getting tired and walking was becoming a problem for me. "H-hey." I gasped out. Bakugou turned right as I started falling. He caught me and picked my up. I made sure to keep a tight grip on my blanket and to keep my quirk actived.

We were about to leave the building when we say Tsu and Uraraka passed out in the common area. Bakugou ran over to them and picked them up. He had to change how he was holding me too.

I was placed on his back while he grabbed Uraraka and Tsu by their waist and held them by his side.

We made it outside where we saw everyone else. They were all staring at the building which was ingulfed in flames. Todoroki looked hella panicked, probably because I wasn't out yet.

I stopped my quirk and Bakugou felt safe enough to drop the girls. I had no strength left and I started slipping off his back. Since I was behind him he couldn't catch me.

Before I made contact with the ground someone stopped me. I looked and noticed I was just floating. Then I glanced at Uraraka who gently put me down. "Thank you." I whispered, literally no strength to do anything.

"No thank you, because of your quick thinking you guys were able to save anyone who might have been stuck in there, like me and Tsu." She smiled weakly at me.

"W-where's Kaminari?!" Jiro said, clearly panicked. Again I activated my quirk but left Jiro and Bakugou unfrozen. "Hurry, go find him." I said up to them.

They quickly ran back into the building to search around.

About 30 minutes later they came out with Kaminari in arms. When they were a safe distance away from the building I let go of my quirk. "Everyone... here?" I asked and looked around.

They also looked around and indeed everyone was present. "Good..." I said right before I passed out.

Small Time Skip

I woke up in the hospital. Well not really the hospital but I was in the nurses office in school. They moved all us students there for the night. Also some of us had burns and Recovery Girl came in to heal us up.

Nearly everyone had their own bed. Some of the girls shared because there was a shortage.

I sat up and looked around the room. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. "What happened?" I asked hoping they would know why the fire started. They just looked around at eachother.

"I left my straightener on in the bathroom..." Momo confessed. I was confused, why would she straighten her hair at night and how would the fire get so big so fast?

"That can't be right. The fire was all the way up in mine and Bakugou's room." I spoke. Everyone glanced at eachother. They weren't telling me something. "Why are you all lying to me?" I asked them.

They didn't say anything, they kinda just blow it off as nothing. Was it something I did?

Suddenly the door opened and All Might and Mr. Aizawa appeared. "Maria.." All Might said and rushed to me. Wrapping me in his arms around me in a tight hug.

I hugged him back while tears fell down my face. "You all will be staying in here as a group for about a week while we fix up your dorms. We are making the bathrooms fire proof... cause you girls like to do your hair." He said and glared are Momo who just slid under a blanket.

Maybe it was because of the straightener but it still doesn't make sense.

Time skip next day

We were allowed to go to class in our street clothes today since our uniforms where burned up in the fire. I had All Might bring me a small bag I keep at home full of clothes.

I wore a shirt maroon skirt with a long sleeved, black turtle neck shirt. Then I wore a flat pair of shoes (invision vans) since my school shoes were burned up.

The other girls wore skirts and dresses as well while the boys wore pants and a t-shirt. They didn't care as much as us when it came to apearance.

Our lessons today where quick and to the point. They gave us lots of time to get homework done. While we did homework they played a video about fires and I couldn't help but laugh alittle at this.

"Hey Maria." A familiar voice said from the side of me. I turned and looked up at Todoroki. "Y-yes?" I asked. He just looked down at my paper. Math, my worst subject.

"You're doing it wrong." He spoke calmly. He pulled a chair up next to my desk and showed me the proper way to do the work. When he was finished and I was able to do it on my own perfectly I thanked him. He stood up but leaned down into my ear. "Anything did my princess" he whispered. It sent a chill down my spine.

Todoroki walked away when Momo called him over. I stared in disbelief, how can he say something so casually.

After class I gathered my things and headed to the nurses office to drop it all off. I took a less popular path to advoid contact with everyone.

I was in the middle of a deserted hallway when someone grabbed me and pushed me up against a wall. I closed my eyes tightly and tried to scream but there was a hand infront of my mouth.

I struggled against the person but it was clear they are strong that me so I gave up quickly. I slowly opened my eyes to see Todoroki. "I warned you, Maria. I warned you multiple times." He spoke quietly but clear. He stared right into my eyes, refusing to break contact.

I didn't want to appear weak so I stared back but I couldn't stop the tears from falling. "Don't cry, I'm not gonna hurt you. I could never hurt you." He whispered, taking his right hand and carassing the side of my face.

He had me up against the wall out of the view of the cameras. He held my wrists together with his left hand, he had them pushed up against my chest. He was extremely close, his knee was between my legs to keep me from stuggling and running.

"Please let me go.." I whined through my tears, still looking into his eyes. "I warned you Maria, stay away from Bakugou and any other boy in this class, do you understand." His gaze intensified. I couldn't help but look away and nod. "Say it Maria, tell me you understand." He spoke again.

"I understand."
