Chapter Forty~Five ~ My sanctuary , my home 🏡

Few minutes later and Adda scarlets face showed on.
"Don't tell me that this girl called you afrah , she came to this room shouting amma amma , I thought ma kun dawo ne ma."

"Oh so you admit to missing me , but you couldn't call me even once , the irony" I checked my mood and it was getting better , I was slowly losing my antagonist side.

"I didn't want to disturb you madame" she added wriggling her brows.

"Kai adda scarlet, disturb me how ? , stop being nasty."

"Says the one who literally invented the word nasty"

Adda scarlet is very pliable and I knew she's going to switch to her mother side in 5..4..3..2..1.

"So now what about you , how are you ? , why are your eyes swollen, did you cry?, where's Naseer?" She asked at the same time.

I knew it, I missed my family so much and a tear slipped down to my cheeks , I quickly wiped it away but it was too slow for Dear Adda to miss.

"Innallilahi afrah please tell me , what's wrong ? Menene?"

"For real adda it's nothing I just miss you guys so much"

"Hmm afrah I know you too much to believe that , you're masking your feelings , I know you're strong and all that but believe me when I say you're allowed to let your guard down once in a while , you're no Oprah Winfrey"

As if I was waiting for those words , I burst into fits of tears,she let me cry to my fill then asked me what was wrong again, I couldn't tell her about afaans picture that was sent with Aneesa naked in an unusual position ,he's my husband after all we can both forget it but she'll never forget it.

"Adda, I don't know what I feel about Afaan, sometimes I love him so much and sometimes I feel I don't "

"Auzubillah , okay lets play a quiz I'll tell you if you're In love with him by the end of it okay?" I nodded.

"Question one , Do you enjoy spending time with him?"

"Adda can I lie a little bit ?" I asked and she laughed.

"No silly girl , answer honestly"

"Ok fine , I enjoy spending time with him , as in so much"I could bet there was a twinkle in my eye.

"Good,Do you think about him often?, like when he's not around and stuff?"

"Ermm yes , I'm thinking about him right now , scarrr when he's not around matsuwa na Ke ya dawo"I added covering my mouth to avoid laughing

"Mara kunya Even on horrible days I mean really horrible , does this persons presence make you better?"

"Yes" I answered remembering the day I was having mad PMS (premenstrual syndrome), it was really bad but his presence took all the pain and mood swings away.

"Does he push your mumu buttons?"She smirked derisively.

"Ok I know about that , I'm a witness to it " she answered before I could reply.

"No you're not"

"I am"

"You're not"

"I am , shut up , last question does he feel like home?" I blushed cause Afaan sure felt like home , his presence lights up my whole life , but I sure wasn't going to tell Adda that so I slowly nodded my head pulling my veil to cover my face. 

"Ja'ira , you're completely whipped , so they'll be a day Afrah will get enticed by a guy , Ummi needs to hear this".

"Ah ah Adda Scarlet, when did you become a town crier ? sai anjima."

"Hey wait , whatever it is , you're in love with Naseer Afrah , please take care of yourself ,marriage is not a joke whatever is wrong, settle it like grown ups ok?"
She repeated Afaan's exact words and I stared at my phone.

"One last question , and I'm for real this is the last question why are you wearing red lipstick by this time of the night ?"

"Well Adda I'm trying to look like Sabina"

"Sab who?"

"Hello , Sabina from the book Sabina on watt-pad, which world do you live in ?"

"Ohh That Sabina,  I love that book , those Bestfriend goals make me want to have Girl Bestfriends😩"

"Adda you're old and married for heavens sake"

"Excuse me" she stared at me sternly daring me to repeat my sentence , I cut the call quickly laughing at her expression , I suddenly remembered Afaan and bit my lower lip , I missed his scent, I decided to trust my instinct and text him.

You're special to me , you're the only one I wouldn't mind losing sleep for and you know how much I value my sleep ,the only one I can never get tired of talking to and the only one who literally crosses my mind constantly through out the day, you're the only one who can make me smile without trying , Afaan I think you're the only person that can tolerate my mood swings , and affect my emotions with every action of yours , you're the one I'm afraid of loosing and the one I want to spend the rest of my life with, you're my sanctuary my home  🏡 💕, don't book any room come back to your comfort zone.

It delivered and I rushed to the bathroom to do the necessary.
10 minutes later.
