A long silence ensued after you finished, each passing second allowing for an awkward sensation to build up in your chest. I didn't meant to sound so dramatic. I just needed to get my point across. To let them know why I need to come along.

Contrary to your concerns, no one was judging your monologue, just simply processing it. Processing and waiting for someone else to answer first. Fortunately, before the moment became stale, a voice broke the silence. "If I may, Joestar-san," Kakyoin stepped forward calling attention to his form. "Her reasons for wanting to come along aren't that much different from my own. I say she should be allowed to come along, if that's what she desires."

Avdol was the next to speak, his voice like a warm greeting. " I agree. Her abilities have proven useful thus far as well. I would welcome her help."

"I always welcome the presence of a beautiful lady." Polnareff chimed in.

Jotaro scoffed from the side. "Yare yare daze."

"That settles it then." Mr. Joestar concluded, clapping his hands together in affirmation. "Welcome aboard, (Y/N)."

"Thank you. I-"

A blaring whistle cut off your speech. The six of your turned to face the interruption running up the street. The whistle, seeming to come from a uniformed man, sounded off another three times before he confronted your group. "OIIIIIII!" the man yelled out of breath. He turned towards your new companions and continued with an accusatory tone. "Absolutely no littering will be tolerated here! Now pay up! The fine is 500 Singaporean dollars!"

"What!?" Polnareff shouted bewildered as he dramatically twisted his head around to look for the offending 'litter'. "What trash are you talking about?"

"What do you mean?" The officer pointed down to a roped canvas bag off to his side. "This bag of trash right here!"

Polnareff cocked his head to the side with narrowing eyes. "My luggage?" The incredulity in his voice was clear, causing some of the crusaders to snicker at his expense.

The officer stammered and stepped back a foot or two, but the Frenchman pressed into him. "Would you please tell me what garbage you are referring to?"

"Uhmm, uhhh..." The man continued to stutter as he feverishly glanced side-to-side looking for an out. "You there!" He called in a familiar accusatory tone while walking towards you. "I bet you left that scuff mark on curb." He said gesturing to a darker spot near where you were just sitting. "You are dirtying up this beautiful city of Singapore! That's a fine of 500 Singaporean dollars, unless you are going to clean up this mess!"

The sudden charge left you frozen in a doe eyed stare. All you could manage was a small, breathless "what".

"I said your dirty ass need to clean this mess up, or pay the fine."

Polnareff pulled the man's shoulder back before he got closer to you. "Are you joking? She just sat down. Is that a crime?"

"It is if she is filthy."

"Oh? So what? It's going to wash off the next time it rains."

"Sh-she shouldn't be dressed like-"

Polnareff gripped the man's shoulder tighter, forcing the two to face each other for the following verbal barrage. "Tell me, then. Are you going to give the lady fresher attire? No? Then stop wasting our time."

"I...uhh..." Overwhelmed by the shift in the accusatory dynamic, the officer visibly conceited and ran off.

Once the officer receded from view, you turned your head down and muttered. "Thank you, Mr. Polnareff." God, that was utterly demoralizing...
