Falling (SEQUEL TO 'THE SECRETS WITHIN')

Chapter 1

"No your not." I ruffled his hair and went back to make the coffee. Levi came up next to me and tried to look over the bench but he was too short, so I picked him up and sat him on the bench.

"I wanna help!" He grinned.

"Sure."

Levi helped me make the coffee as Eren got up. Eren came up behind me and grabbed me by the waist which startled me and made me spill some coffee. I gasped and he covered my mouth with his. I pulled away and slapped his arm playfully.

"Not infront of the kids Eren." I whispered, smiling at him.

"Oh no!" Levi gasped, looking at the spilt coffee. He jumped off the bench.

"H-Hey be careful!" I said, watching as he grabbed a sponge. He got on his toes and although he could hardly see the bench, he cleaned up the mess.

"Good boy." Eren laughed, picking up Levi and spinning him around with the child giggling.

"I want one tooo." Another small voice whined from the doorway. It was Petra.

"Wakes up late, just like me." Eren winked at me, making me laugh. He then put Levi on his right shoulder, then picked up Petra and put her on his left.

"Thats dangerous!" I said, looking worried as Eren spun around.

"I wont hurt them, dont worry." Eren laughed as the two children squealed and giggled.

I smiled as I watched them having fun together. I was scared when we adopted Petra and Levi they weren't going to be happy because they wouldn't have a mother, but they seemed perfectly fine with it and I'm happy that they are.

As the morning progressed, we all got ready and headed out to the Eremin Cafe. After we had gotten married, Eren and I got a loan for the house and cafe. Plus it turns out the Eren was close to rich because his mother had alot of valuable things that he sold, trying to move on, so we had some extra money ontop of the loan.

After buying our house and furniture, we went onto redesigning the cafe and renaming it. Since then we have had great buisness, plus some new workers. Ontop of Sasha, Connie, Marco and Annie; we now have Jean, Eren plus some new workers, Hanji, Berthold, Reiner and Rico.

Hanji is a bit of a nutcase but we all love her, Bert and Reiner are really nice and Rico is really shy but we all love her.

I got out of the car and helped Petra with her seatbelt, as Eren helped Levi. We carried them over to the cafe where Marco was waving to us as he washed the tables.

"Hey guys!" He said.

We put the kids down and they ran over to 'Uncle Marco', tackling him. He talked to them while Eren and I walked in. We all exchanged hello's and I went to the register, where even though I was the boss, I still worked.

Eren came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I looked at him and pouted.

"We can't at work you know." I said.

"Aw I can't even just have one kiss from my husband?" Eren smirked, knowing that I always blushed when he said 'husband'. I dont know, it made me jittery when he said it. I did in fact blush and he laughed. "You're so cute." He said, kissing me. I smiled on his lips and after it I smiled at him.

"Okay, now go work." I teased.

"Thats not fair." He pouted.

I gave him one last peck. "Happy now?"

"Yeah, Ill accept it." He smiled and walked off.

"Minny!!" Petra and Levi screamed, running and hugging my legs.

"H-Hey!" I laughed.

Marco walked up and smiled as he watched us.

"I love you." Levi said, squeezing my leg tighter.

"Me too me too!!" Petra giggled.

"I love you guys too!" I laughed, crouching down and giving them both a hug. They giggled and ran off to the kitchen where they usually played and hung out with Sasha. Marco watched as they ran off and although he was smiling, he looking sad.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Y-Yeah." He sighed.

"Whats wrong?" I frowned.

"I just think they're really cute." He laughed.

"Are you going to adopt?"

He stiffened a bit. "U-Uh... I-I'm not sure..." He stuttered.

"Why? You love kids!" I exclaimed, suprised.

"Well... Yeah I do..." Marco said, looking at Jean who was straightening out some ornaments.

"...Is it Jean?" I asked.

His head shot towards me, then looked back at Jean and sighed. "Yeah..."

"He doesnt like kids?"

"He does... A little... He's just scared he'll be a bad father and refuses to have kids because of that." Marco sighed.

"I'm sure he'll change his mind one day." I smiled.

"Come on, get in." I said, pushing Levi slightly to get into the car.

"Bye Uncle Marcoo!!!" He yelled at Marco, who waved back at him.

We all got in the car and drove home. We were greeted by Luka at the door, who immediately jumped on the kids and licking them to death. While they giggled and played with the dog, Eren and I walked to the kitchen. I sat down on a chair and puffed.

"Are you okay?" Eren asked as he began washin some dishes.

"Y-Yeah." I panted. "I just think I should really start bringing my crutches to work." I buried my head in my hands and tried to steady my breathing.

Eren walked over and handed me a large glass of water, kissing my forehead.

"I don't think you should push yourself so hard." He said.

"Yeah yeah." I waved him off.

I posted the first chapter because I love you but I probably wont be updating till christmas because I need to write the chapters and edit and shietttt
