Preface

I woke up for the second time and tiredness washed over me, whiteness surrounded me. I got to my feet and one by one Jess, Freya, Sophie, Hana, Charlotte, Claire, Daisy, Emma, Jazmin. E and Jazmin. H emerged in front of me. We were all wearing long white trailing dresses and we had a pair of white wings on our back. Then I realised Amy was missing from the group, maybe she didn't die.

We all hugged and all of a sudden a woman with long brown hair, noisette eyes and long white robes materialised in front of us. She shook our hands and spoke in a loud and commanding voice,

"My name is Hera the informer. You might not believe me but you were born to defend earth. Every one of you is a goddess. Do you know how some natural disasters killed you guys? It was some evil gods, they are wreaking havoc on earth and they had desperately tried to destroy yous. I have to send you back to earth and your powers will come to you in your mind. However, you might have noticed that one of you is missing. The one you called Amy. She has been possessed by an evil god of war called Ode, he is the most evil god of the lot. Freya, let me let you in on a little secret. Ode is your long lost brother. He ran away when you were little and turned evil. You are the Goddess of War." I watched as Freya gasped. The women continued impatiently,

"When you land be prepared because you's are going to land in Amy's house and Ode might be there. However, you will have your powers by then. You will be dressed differently according to what type of God you are. You will also find that you will each have a black bag next to you. Inside that will be your fighting clothes. Well, you'd better get a move on and save the world. No pressure or anything." With no warning I felt a yank beneath my navel and we sunk faster and faster, towards the park behind Amy's house.
