Brianna woke up early the day. She got out of bed and went over to her closet to pick out an outfit. She wanted to make a good impression since this was her first day at a new school. She decided on a blue long sleeved shirt, jeans, and tan ankle boots. After she changed, she looked in her vanity mirror. She braided her hair and put some makeup on. Once she finished getting ready, Brianna headed downstairs to make breakfast for her and her father. She took out the frying pan and some ingredients and started making pancakes. After she finished the pancakes, she started on the scrambled eggs.

"Good morning, Bri." Scott said as he came into the kitchen. Brianna waved to her father. "You didn't have to make breakfast, sweetie." Scott said. "I would've done it."
"You always make breakfast for me." Brianna typed. "I wanted to make it for you."
"Well, thank you." Scott said. Brianna finished making breakfast and put everything on plates. Scott got out the carton of orange juice and poured it in two glasses. They both sat at the table and started eating.
"This is really good." Scott said. "You did a great job, sweetheart."
"Thank you." Brianna typed.
"Are you ready for school?" Scott asked. Brianna nodded. "Have all your books together?" Scott asked.
"Yeah." Brianna typed.
"I talked to the school, so your teachers know that you don't talk." Scott said.
"Okay." Brianna typed.
"I'll clean up breakfast." Scott said, once they finished eating. "Go finish getting ready." Brianna nodded and went upstairs. She brushed her teeth, grabbed her backpack, and headed back downstairs.
"Ready to go?" Scott asked. Brianna nodded. She followed her father out to the car and got in. Her father drove to the high school. "Have a good day at school." Scott said as he pulled up in front of the school.
"Bye Dad." Brianna typed, before getting out of the car. "Have a good day at work." She walked into the school. Her father was starting at the police station. He was an officer in their old town, so he was able to get a job here. Brianna walked into the administration office and went over to the desk.
"Can I help you, dear?" The secretary asked.
Brianna started typing on her iPad."My name is Brianna Peters. I'm a new student."
"Oh yes. Let me get your schedule." The secretary said. She shuffled through a pile of papers. "Here you go." The secretary said, handing Brianna a couple of papers. "Here's your schedule and a map of the school. You need to get this slip of paper signed by all your teachers and bring back to the office at the end of the day."
"Thank you." Brianna typed before taking the papers and walking out of the office. She made her way to her locker. She put some of her books in her locker and closed it. Brianna walked through the halls, looking at map and trying to figure out where her first class was. Which was History. She finally found it and walked in. She was a few minutes late. Everyone looked at her.
