*Eddie Kaspbrak*
Richie. Richie. Richie. His coke bottle glasses, curly hair, and big personality. I need to talk to Bill.
Bill.
Eddie.
What's up, Eddie? It's six am.
I can't stop thinking about Richie! I mean, I just met him today.
Eddie, don't freak out but, I think you're gay.
I can't be gay! My Mom will send me to conversion camp!
It's just who you are. I'll see you at 12.
*6 hours later*
"I'll be back at 6, Momma!" I shout as I leave the house. Surprisingly, my Mom didn't fight me. I grab my small black bike and I hop on and I start to bike to Richie's. Richie.
I get their pretty quickly. I notice there's no cars in the driveway. I park my bike and I basically skip to the doorstep. I knock politely, I can hear crashing, and banging before Richie opens the door.
"Hey, Eds. I'm sorry about the mess." Richie explains. He lets me in. I see what he means. The stench of achohol, cigarettes, and weed come straight to my nose. I take off my shoes and he leads me upstairs to his room. Walls covered in band posters lightens up the whole house.
"I'm sorry I'm early. I had to get away from my Mom," I tell him.
"It's okay. Wanna listen to music?" Richie questions.
"Sure, got Queen?"
Richie nods. He plugs earbuds, handing me one. The first song is Love of my Life. I see Richie's cheeks flush. We don't notice the rest of them walking in until I hear Bev say, "They would be a cute couple."
I take out the earbuds.
"I'm not gay. Richie isn't either." I state, knowing I am. Bill rolls his eyes. Bev pulls me into Richie's bathroom.
"Eddie, tell the truth. Are you gay? Don't worry, I support you if you are." Bev cajoles.
"I am. I'm just scared what everyone else is going to think. Especially Richie, he's not gay."

Richie's gay for you, Eddie.🤡
