JEONGGUK BLANKLY stared at a canvas stained with a tan skin tone with a honey-like brown for the eyes and messy green strokes to show highlights mixed in with wavy brown hair. a purple-ish red decorated some parts of the painted person with extremely detailed tattoos on their right arm and neck. a spitting image of a man who seems like he's so hard to read when he's really just a book in a different dialect than your originally taught one.

the brunette sighs, putting down his thin paint brush that was stained blue. no matter how lively and different the colors of the man were, all jeongguk saw was a man stained with blue with soulless eyes with true scarring.

jeongguk rolls his eyes as he harshly dunks his paint brush into brown, murky water, rolling himself into a ball. his small-ish palms covers his sunken face that was slightly wet from earlier events.

he stands up, picking the paint water with him and into his bathroom. he pours the water out, watching it go down the drain. he hastily rinses his brushes, colors from each brush differentiating from each other. he then goes back to his bedroom to clean up the paints.

after about 4 minutes, all was cleaned up besides the painting that sent shivers down jeongguk's back. he was disgusted with himself for no exact reason. all he knew is that he wanted to know the man more than felix's cousin's friend. more than a tattooed man that he saw in the grocery store.

he laid down his bed, facing the ceiling.

maybe jeongguk was creeped out by how badly he wanted to know. he groans, grabbing his sketchbook, flipping through pages of drawings of the man that he has been doing since the night he brought taehyung to his bedroom to aid him. since the night he wasn't judged. since the night he felt safe by just seeing his curious brown eyes, staring at felix's portrait.

"crap," he mumbles, chewing on his bottom lip, tears forming again out if his already puffy eyes. he didn't know why he was crying this time. maybe he knew that it wasn't meant to be. taehyung was just a lost mystery he will never figure out and obsessing over him was a waste of time.

jeongguk suddenly throws his sketchbook towards the wall as he quivers into a broken sob. he was on the verge of sadness and anger. he wasn't angry at taehyung. at felix. just himself for being so hopeful and dumb.

he stands up from his bed and roughly grabs the painting, snapping it in half without thinking. jeongguk freezes in place, letting the two halves fall to the ground with a echoing sound ( there was really no sound but it sounded like gunshots to jeongguk. ) his breathing becomes heavy, why did he do that?
