Me and Mattia go to the principals office so we can get our schedules.
Mattia: What classes do you have?
Camilla: Chemistry, English, History, Lunch, Language arts, and Gym.
Mattia: We only have 1st period, 4th period, and 5th period.
Camilla: Wow. School is about to be boring.
Me and Mattia walk off to first period.
???: Hey babe.
Mattia: Uhm who are you?
???: Don't play dumb Mattia! Remember you got drunk and you know what happened.
What is this girl talking about? Why does this have to happen now?
Mattia: You have the wrong Mattia. Sorry.
???: Let me refresh your memory. I'm Lauren!
Mattia: And i'm taken. Come on Cami. She doesn't know what she's talking about.
I walk into class with Mattia confused.
Camilla: Who was that?
Mattia: I actually have no idea.
Mr. Luke: Hi everyone. It's the first day back at school. That doesn't mean you won't get any work. Because you will.
Everyone groans.
???: How about no? It's too early for that shit.
Mr. Luke: That's a detention, Mr. Evans.
Class started and i wasn't really paying until i felt paper thrown at my head.
???: Oops my bad.
I turn around.
???: Hey dingus, how about you stop?
I turn to look at this girl. She had pretty brown skin and really curly hair.
???: How about you shut up Ashley?
Ashley: How you about you shut up, Carson?
Mattia: Carson, just shut the fuck up and leave Camilla the hell alone.
Mr. Luke: I AM TRYING TO TEACH! AFTER SCHOOL DETENTION! ALL OF YOU!
Camilla: I didn't even do nothing!
Carson: Sucks to suck fun sized.
Camilla: What did you just call me?
Mattia: Yea. What did you just call her?
Camilla: Mattia don't.
Mattia: No Cami. He just called you fun sized and i'm the only one aloud to call you that!
Mr. Luke: You guys want ISS too?
We went silent. I already didn't like 1st period.
(Time skip time to Lunch)
Kairi: How are you liking school so far?
Camilla: Well me and Mattia have an after school detention for a stupid reason.
Alvaro: Same! Some random girl cane up to me saying i was her boyfriend.
Mattia: A girl came up to me saying that too! She said her name was Lauren.
Alvaro: That's what that girl said to me too!
Camilla: And why is she doing that?
Alejandro: It's probably because she wanted them to both get with her and then they'd look dumb in the end because they both were with her at the same time.
Mattia: Yea i doubt that.
(Time skip to after school)
I was walking home while i saw the asshole that threw the paper at me.
Carson: Wassup fucker.
Camilla: Oh you've gotta be shitting me.
Carson: You wanna go to homecoming together?
Camilla: Uhm no thanks. You're an asshole.
I start the walk off.
Carson: Yea and so is Mattia!
Camilla: What ever.
He catches up to me.
Carson: You know, we should at least try to be friends. We have all of our classes together.
Camilla: Oh so he's a comedian now.
Carson: I'm serious! I'm gonna be honest, i don't have any friends. That's why i act like a dick.
Camilla: Ok fine.
Carson: Now i have somebody that's gonna get in trouble with me!
Camilla: Wait what?
Carson: You skipped after school detention too! Just like i did.
Camilla: HOLY FUCK! I've gotta go back! That's not gonna look good on my collage application and-
Carson: It's too late now.
Camilla: What am i gonna do!? I legit skipped after school detention!
Carson: Probably suspended for a day-
Camilla: SUSPENDED!? ITS THE FIRST FUCKING DAY!
Carson: Chill! You're being loud!
Camilla: My bad! I'm just a little shook at the moment.
Carson: So about that homecoming?
Camilla: I'll go with you.
He smiles.
Camilla: As a friend.
Carson: Ok fine. But can you help me ask somebody?
Camilla: Sure. But first, when is homecoming?
Carson: Next week.
Camilla: Oh cool. Who do you want to ask?
Carson: Ashley.
Camilla: Dead ass? I thought y'all hated each other.
Carson: Yea. She's actually really pretty.
He looked nervous. I could tell he really liked her.
Camilla: Do you have her number? I'm gonna ask her does she wanna hang out.
Carson: Yea of course i have her number.
Camilla: Ok she can hang out with us today.
Me and Carson walk to my house and call Ashley to come over.
Call:
Ashley: Hello? Who is this?
Camilla: Hey. This is Camilla from first period. I was wondering did you wanna hang out?
Ashley: Yea. I just got out of detention and your boyfriend was looking for you.
Camilla: He's not my boyfriend and i kind of forgot about detention.
Ashley: Yea so did Carson.
Camilla: Speaking of Carson, he's with me too. We both missed detention.
Ashley: Oh! I knew he'd skip detention.
Camilla: Well you can come over any time. The address is (make up one or use your own)
Ashley: Ok thanks. I'm on my way.
End of call.
Carson: You should call Mattia. He's probably worried about you.
Camilla: That's actually a good idea.
Calling Mattia
Mattia: Hello?
Camilla: Hey Mattia! Wanna hang out today?
Mattia: Yea sure. Why weren't you at after school detention? I mean, the teacher let us out early but, why weren't you and Carson there?
Camilla: I had forgot and then me and Carson started hanging out.
Mattia: Oh. I'll be over in like 5 minutes.
Camilla: Ok.
