"We're here!"

Startled Katsuki leapt awake. "Fuck, didn't mean to doze off."

"Yeah, it happens." The cabbie glanced back. "Gunna need help with your buddy though?"

"Nah, I got it. Gimme just a minute and-" Katsuki exited the cab, circling around and opening the back door only to find Eijirou had lain down. "Okay. I can handle this. I can-" And then he rolled onto the floor. "Oh gimme a goddamned break, Shitty Hair!"

"A-are you sure-"

"Shut the fuck up." Katsuki hissed. "I'm trying to..." He breathed out and in slow as he tried to think. Not easy still half drunk. Katsuki closed his eyes for a long second, looking up to the star-sick sky to evaluate his life; how the fuck he ended up here of all goddamn places. "Okay, I'm gunna pay you, then get this dipshit out of your car and you can get us out of your fucking hair." Katsuki sighed, passing cash over the driver's shoulder. "Just keep the change. You earned it."

"Yes sir!"

"Do NOT call me sir." Katsuki's lip curled. "God this fucking moron gets drunk as shit-" Katsuki grunted, pulling Eijirou out by his ankles, "-fucking assaults me-" hoisting him up by his wrist, looping an arm under his knees, the other scooping Eijirou up under a pit, bracing against his back. "-has the balls to pass out in the fucking cab!" Katsuki hissed as he stood. With my thighs, with my thighs! He chanted, carefully tilting back to avoid banging Eijirou's head on the door. "Do you care if I kick the door closed?"

"Nah man." The cabbie looked back, "I'm fucking impressed. You're stacked."

"Fuck yeah I am." Katsuki growled, carefully knocking the door closed with his foot. "Thanks for the ride."

"Good luck with your friend."

Katsuki watched the vehicle drive away. "Yeah... I need it." He breathed in deep, crossing the gravel to his front door, weaving a little as he climbed up the front steps.

He was not carrying his crush - who had kissed him - bridal style over the threshold of his house. He was not. He was not. He was not. Katsuki was just lugging a drunk piece of shit to a safe place. That was all. That was it. His heart did not flutter when he glanced down. He didn't feel that odd melancholic longing at the way the moonlight reflected off red hair or skin at rest.

Katsuki yipped when he missed a step, heart leaping into his throat.

"Kat?" The voice rumbled deep through his chest, vibrating into his body.

Sleepy red eyes peeked, still drunk, through drowsy lids. Arms looped around Katsuki's neck. Eijirou's nuzzled into his shoulder.

"You're carrying me?" His voice breathy, skating over the sensitive skin.

"Of course I am?" Katsuki snapped, leaning against his entryway, using a knee to hold Eijirou up as he opened his front door. "The fuck else would I do?"

"I haven't been carried in years." Eijirou giggled, blush dusting his cheeks high. Fingertips brushed against the nape of Katsuki's neck as he kicked the door closed behind them. "I like it."

"You like being babied?" Katsuki snorted. "Disgusting."

"Hmm." Eijirou's eyes closed, his head leaning against Katsuki's shoulder, "But your heart's racing." Red glimmered, peeking out at him. "Mine is too."

Katsuki lurched in his entryway. "K-kick your damn shoes off, you fucking annoyance."

Eijirou complied, his right shoe popping off easily, smacking against the shoe rack. His sock slipped off his left shoe twice before it finally came off his heel. Eijirou a mess of giggles, arms tight around Katsukis shoulders, head tucked into his neck.
