Date, November 5, 2038. It was never discovered who had broken into my house, though it was suspected to have been deviants because the only thing missing was the Thirium and Bio-components I had. Rayna had been sent off to Cyberlife and returned last month. They also sent her with a few cases of Thirium from my father. She seemed okay, her memory was still intact at least.
So, at least I didn't need to retrain her how to clean out my Bio-components. I was staying at the station tonight and it was about... 11 at night. I knew I needed to get home soon, but I just.. Was having trouble motivating myself to. I wanted to stay away from there as much as possible. Trying to find reasons to stay later and later.
Closing my eyes I placed my hands against my face and leaned back into my chair. "Excuse me." Lowering my hand I looked to my right, There was an android standing next to my desk. "Sorry to bother you, but do you know where Lieutenants Hank Anderson and (Y/n) Kamski would be?"
I stared at him. His blazer said he was an RK800 model 313 248 317-51. I was about to say something when Fowler called me to his office. I walked over as he handed me a case file. "You're working Homicide with Hank on this one. Here are the details."
Gently, I took the folder and walked out to my desk, that android still waiting for my answer. Scratching my neck I thought of where Hank could have possibly gone off too, that's right, game night. Letting out a sigh I looked into the folder before setting it on my desk. "Well, I'm (Y/n). I have a pretty good idea of where Hank is if you want to accompany me."
He nodded, and followed me to my car. I parked outside Jimmy's bar about twenty after. I let him out first and followed to the door soon after. When I got there this guy was flipping a coin. Adjusting the hood on my jacket I walked past him and into the bar. Hank never sat in a different spot so I walked straight up to him.
The android greeted him before I could. "Lieutenant Anderson, my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife. I looked for you at the station, but nobody seemed to know where you were. Your partner, (Y/n), was the one who brought me here."
Hank shot me a look, I picked up my hands. "Hank, we've got a case. Homicide. Looks like it... that it involves a..."
I was having a hard time getting the words out. Memories of what happened to Rayna still fresh in my mind. "It involved a CyberLife android. In accordance with procedure, the company has allocated a specialized model to assist investigators." Hank didn't even look up.
His eyes that were on me were now torn away. Instead he was focused on the drink before him. "Well, I don't need any assistance. Especially not from a plastic asshole like you. So just be a good little robot and get the fuck outta here."
I groaned in annoyance. "Hank, I got stuck on the assignment to. That's why I'm here to pick you up. So you can either come with me now, or I will wait outside with... Connor?" The android nodded. "With Connor until you're done being an ass."
When Hank didn't move I turned to leave. He knew well enough I would stand in the rain until he was done with his shit. "(Y/n)..." he sighed. "Did you say homicide?" I rolled my eyes but continued my way outside. Unlocking my car and getting in out of the rain. I left Hank at the bar with Connor and made my way to the scene. A few reporters tried to talk to me, but I just ignored them and went straight into the house.
I had already read the file so I told them I didn't need the brief and just wanted to get started. Stepping into the backyard I looked around. Other than officer Collins shoes, there was no evidence anyone had come out this way in a long time. When I got back in, Hank and Connor were getting the debrief.
Connor seemed to notice my entrance and walked over to me. "Would you like to look for evidence with me?" My brow furrowed, like was he serious? "I assumed we could use the time to talk about what happened two months ago."
