Son Of Nick Fury (Percy Jackson x Avengers)

The powers, the pain, the message

It's my birthday. Kinda hate it but everyone was so excited for me that I went ahead with their excitement and tried to enjoy it. Still kept having that feeling when I was happy that I couldn't hope which put me down. Guess It's what I'm used to though. Hope you had a good weekend!

Percy: My heartbeat rested itself. I heard voices but my eyes were too exhausted to open themselves. I realised the team were talking about my dad, (Nick not Poseidon).

"But why would he ask us to group together like this so suddenly?" Clint's distant voice speaks.

"Well he did say we could only trust the team," Steve adds. I grip the blanket around me, not liking how I couldn't see them.

"And Percy." Tony joined in. I moved closer to whoever was hugging me and opened my eyes slowly. I noticed the team's eyes on me. "Shit, I think I woke him." Wanda swatted Tony lightly.

"You drool in your sleep," Natasha noted beside me. Why was Natasha holding me? And why would she say that?

I just nodded shakily. Slowly the others headed to bed. I did also, struggling to get out of Natasha's grip as Clint laughed at the sight. I headed to my room to get somewhat of a rest.

*Dream*

I was in a white abyss. It was a beach, waves crashing on a rocky beach. The fog was so intense I couldn't see anything in front of me, not past the sea or anything around me either. Then from the rocks, I heard crunches. I was instantly alerted.

"Hey, Aqua-man. How's life treating you?" A sarcastic and carefree voice said. The figure emerged and I saw a boy with curly brown hair and a cheeky grin.

"Leo!" I shouted with glee. I stood in front of him. "Where are you? What happened?" the smile couldn't be removed from my face, but I was still concerned.

"Calm down dude! You gotta listen here, we haven't got much time." He said quickly. "I'm in trouble, it's hard to ex – "his voice was cut off. His mouth was still moving but nothing came out.

"Leo?! I can't hear you!" I screamed in worry. his figure shimmered, the fog came closer.

Suddenly his face was worried too. It was like he was trying to hear me too. I made one thing out before the dream stopped. "Attack! Help!" his voice let out, then died away. I melted into nothingness. 

*Dream ended*

I shot up gasping. From sitting up I tumbled off my bed. Someone opened my door and in came Steve who helped me up.

"You alright?" He asked. I had a small smile on my face which I couldn't get rid of, but I nodded. Leo's alive! He's really alive!

"Fine, just woke up a bit confused." I dismissed. He eventually left after making sure I was fine. I checked the clock. 6:22 am, it read in bright letters. Then I noticed something beside it on my desk. It looked like a piece of metal but when I picked it up, I felt an engraving. Hephaestus's forgery symbol carved into the side with the initials LV under it.

It was Leo's work! How did this get here? Did it have something to do with my dream? How does it work?

I got the answer to the last question sooner than imagined. I felt a click inside it and dropped the thing on my bed in fright when a hologram image of Leo appeared from the device. It was like the one he went to us in Camp Jupiter.

"Hey buddy!" he began. "Just wanted to let – "It flashed out, then back again. "And I'm where – "Same thing here. "– hope you're doing – "What's wrong with it? "And Nico is – "then it just stopped. I stood there stunned and reluctantly took the device. I got it to work again but it repeated the same thing.
