You know it's been a bad day when I'm uploading two chapters today instead of one.

Also it's raining and I might order take-out.

Tony:

Peter went home first, to his aunt to let her know he had the Stark internship tonight. I'd usually leave it on school nights, but I needed to know what happened at school today. Percy had just arrived and went straight to his room without saying a word. The others exchanged looks before going back to their own things. I wanted to look through his room cameras, but I'd already done that and feel it's such an invasion of privacy for this kid. I needed him to trust us enough to tell us himself about what's been going on.

Peter walked in jumpily. "I'm guessing you want to know how his day was?" he questions, we all nod and sit around the table in the lounge.

"Anything out of the ordinary?" Clint says. Peter looked up in thought.

"Yeah actually, he knew our English teacher and PE coach already." Peter revealed. I arched a brow in anticipation for more information. "Well Mr Pace swapped his book to another language, Greek I think and said something like "You'll love your next class" To him. And our gym teacher and he were really getting along. And that's odd because he seems to hate us all." Clint tilted his head and sighed like he faced something similar.

"Sir, Agent Jackson is leaving the building. Would you like to lock the doors?" Friday asked. Our eyes shot wide. How did we not see him leave? I cleared my throat.

"No, track him through the security cameras but let him go." I said, then glanced at the team. "We can see where he went later. Friday? How long till the search is complete?"

"It has approximately 37 minutes duration left." Friday answered.

"so, pizza?" Bruce wonders. I point to Peter.

"Homework." He rolls his eyes before jumping out of the window and on his way home.

Time skip

Percy:

I went to the graveyard. My hood was up, sunglasses were on to cover my very bruised face. I saw a few demigods here but nobody major. Malcom Pace stood in front of his sister's grave.

"so, teacher?" I say, startling him. He relaxes at the sight of my face, somehow.

A light chuckle escapes his lips. "Better to improve someone else's life when I fail to do so with mine."

"Fair point." I said. Silence surrounded us. the eerie soundless area of trembling young adults who stood in front of a loved one. "Gods, I'm glad there's no cameras here." Malcom gives me a confused look.

"What did you do?" he accuses. I put my hands up playfully but not fully smiling.

"Tony Stark is tracking my moves. He's watching me like I'm a kid." I got out, annoyed. He asked Peter over to find out about my day. I heard them; I can be stealthy when I want to be.

"What're you doing with Tony Stark?" My brother-in-law asks. I shrug, sighing as I know it'll be a pain to explain.

"My dad – not Poseidon – he's a government agent, Nick Fury. There was this issue in Manhattan and our house was destroyed so he forced me to move into Avengers Tower with that team of "superheroes" which has been a nightmare." I ranted quickly. Malcom put a hand on my shoulder.

"You've got a weird life little bro." I nodded in agreement. He looked up. "I've got to get home; I'll see you tomorrow. And remember – "I arched a brow. "It's Mr Pace now." we were walking out as we spoke, now near a camera which Tony was probably looking at me from.

"You just called me "little bro" and now your insisting on Mr Pace?" I say, baffled. He shrugs it off while walking backwards to face me. he walked off. I looked up at the camera, waved before turning on my heels and walking back to the tower.

Finally, back at the tower I went upstairs. The avengers asked my loads of questions.

"How was school?"

"Did you enjoy your lessons?"

"Was the food there alright?"

"How's your schedule?" I stopped but ignored them all. Natasha walked up to me and pulled down my hood, then took my glasses before I could stop her. I snatched them back, but they'd already seen it. I glared at her meanly, a drop of sweat fell down the side of her face. Natasha backed away to beside Steve while they all stood there. I walked away without saying anything.

Once I got to my room, I shut the door and slid down to the floor against the door. I sat there with my head in my hands for a few minutes. My backpack was thrown on the floor in front of me, the English book hung out. I stood up and fell onto my bed, shivering as a flashback came over me instead of peaceful sleep.

These chapters feel small, but I reckon the next few ones will be longer (I think).
