Thank you so much @Okami_Aoyama for your request! I hope you and the other people reading this enjoy the one-shot! (also I decided to awfully draw something for this one-shot and I will most likely do the same for the others-)

The only thing the Survllience Expert could hear was the sound of his fading heartbeat as he barely managed to crawl his way into a building and sit up by the very door he used to get inside. Crypto just recently got shot down and he had no one left to assist him as his teammates recently met the same fate as the other fallen legends. He was surprised about two things, how did he not know where they were and how did he manage to get out of there. Crypto remained silent as he heard footsteps all above him and reached into his pocket for his syringe so he could just get up and flee. Any other choice is practically suicidal, yet for his misfortune, he does not have his syringe on him. Crypto is just left to bleed out.

Crypto was just counting his slow heartbeats waiting for the inevitable as his vision began to just form into a black void, yet his earing weirdly didn't do the same, he knew this because he suddenly heard a door open right in front of him. He barely managed to see a figure approaching him with a weirdly worried look when they did so. The Survllience Expert couldn't even process who it was yet either way, even though his mind told him not to, he noticed his hand reaching out towards the figure as he just felt the buzzing of the notifications from his drone on a device on his arm.

"Don't worry I got you!"

That was the only thing he heard from the figure before feeling a sudden rush inside him as he was helped back on his feet, that is when Crypto finally managed to see clearly and see which enemy saved him. To his surprise, It was Natalie or better known as Wattson to others.

"Here, I have some medical supplies left," Natalie said as she went through her backpack and then pulled out a medical kit and a shield battery and handed them to Crypto with a calm smile now appearing on her face.

Crypto honestly didn't know how to reply he did not expect this kind of generosity from an enemy and only expected something to be up, this thought brought his hand to began slowly moving his hand towards the Wingman that was in his pocket. For him, he was yet again taken off guard by Wattson's actions as she took note that he wasn't grabbing the supplies and began bandaging up his wounds herself. This simple action brought a minorly cherry-like color to the hacker's cheeks, and eventually, when taking in this information, the electrical engineer formed a similar shade on her own.

"There, Mieux?" The engineer asked as she brushed a strand of hair away from her face when the small and simple question managed to escape her mouth.

"Yes, Thank you." The hacker managed to say as he then just avoided eye contact as he took the shield battery and began using it to repair the level two armor he managed to grab when he was looting in the past.

"Are you low on any other supplies?"

"No, I'm good with what I have at the moment."

The engineer only nodded at his response as she then went to exit the building as she finally managed to take in the fact there were no more footsteps around her and Crypto, giving the sign that it was safe to exit the building. Yet she was stopped as a warm hand gripped around her arm.

"Why did you help me?" Crypto quickly asked as he kept his grip onto Wattson's arm, not seeming like he is going to let go anytime soon.

"I saw you pick up your two teammate's banners are realized you were on your own too," Wattson replied as she turned around and faced Crypto, now seeming unfazed by his grip, in fact, the grip made her smile brighter.

"Also enemies are around the closest respawn beacon, should I go be a distraction while you revive t-"

"That is the most idiotic thing I've heard all day. Unless you have a deathwish, stay by me. I know the path as well." Crypto said as he just then let go of her arm and held out his hand as a small smile formed on his face when he finally managed to get a good look at her eyes.

Wattson seemed surprised by Crypto and instead of taking his hand, she was so happy from his offer that she brought the male into a warm embrace as that would easily become the answer to the question the Survellience Expert asked her.

The hacker remained still has he had received the hug from the engineer, Crypto didn't expect the embrace and honestly had no idea how to react at that moment when the hug was given. Does he push her away, does he just stand there and accept it, why was he overcomplicating this situation?! Once again, a situation much similar to the time he held out his hand for help from the girl, without thinking Crypto had joined the embrace, hugging her back. This just caused his face to turn a brighter shade of red when he did this.

"...Right, we should hurry now before enemies find us." Crypto said as he was the one to pull away from the hug first and head towards the door with his wingman out.

"Right!" Wattson quickly said in reply as she pulled out her triple take and quickly reloaded it as she had her eyes set and focused on that door. Yet Immediately after doing this, she used her free hand to grab onto Crypto's

The hacker only stared at the engineer when she grabbed onto his hand before showing her an even bigger smile as he nodded at her before opening the door causing Crypto and Wattson to run outside with gunfire heard in the distance, but even with this, they never let go of each other's hand when heading to the respawn beacon.
