Arnold
On Tuesday, Arnold was surprised to learn that the next day was Will's birthday and felt bad that he hadn't gotten him anything. Luckily for him, Jason came to his rescue and took him back to his house after their day's activities at the arcade and the park and got him to sign the card that he had got his friend. So the next day came and they gave him this card and there was a joint present as well from all three of them which came from Malcolm and it was a new Star Wars figure that Will hadn't got yet.
"Thank you guys, this means a lot," Will said.
"You are welcome, you always give us pretty decent presents for our birthday" Jason replied.
"That you do, so you deserve this" Malcolm said.
"If I had known sooner I would have sorted something else out but these guys are nice enough to include me on the stuff they got you," Arnold said.
"They are nice like that, it doesn't end there, and my parents are taking all of us to the pictures tonight," Will said sounding very excited.
"Wow, I've never been to the pictures," Arnold said.
"Seriously, what is your life?" Jason asked.
"One where I have nothing but I'm still happy and don't complain about stuff unlike some people here" Arnold answered back.
"That was a good burn man, I think we are changing him for the better," Malcolm said.
"We certainly are, well you'll get a new experience tonight then, make sure you can come and be around mine for about seven if you don't turn up I know you weren't allowed out" Will said.
"I will ask, hopefully, they will let me do it" Arnold said.
"What are we going to see anyway?" Malcolm asked.
"This new film called Ghostbusters" Will answered
"That sounds a little scary so that will be good," Malcolm said.
"Yeah it'll mean we'll see Arnold piss himself at his very first movie," Jason said with a laugh.
"I may do it who knows but you also might do it as well," Arnold said.
"Enough of that let's go play for a bit," Will said and play they did, they went over to the park and joined in. all the kids there wished Will a happy birthday as they knew him quite well and this just made Arnold feel a little worse about himself, but at least now he knew when it was and next year could plan accordingly. Soon enough it was time to head back home and he said see you to his friends and made it back there as quickly as he could. The first he did when he got back home was ask his parents whether he could go to the pictures tonight with his friends, he told them how it was to celebrate Will's birthday and that his parents would be paying for it. They could see how excited he was for it but that still didn't stop them feeling bad as they never had the money to take all their kids to the pictures but they thought it would be good for him and so they would let him go so long as he came back as soon as he could after the film had finished and that he would behave properly and thank the Harrisons for their generosity. He told them that he would do this and thanked them for allowing him to go. After they had dinner he got ready and dressed in his smartest clothes, he thought perhaps this was a little overkill but as he had never been to the pictures before he didn't know the dress code.
